Villa Mandorle is a lovely villa set in the hills outside Cisternino ( 10 min drive). We are a family of 5 adults and everyone got its space to rest and relax. The house has the most beautiful views. The pool is wonderful. The house is very comfortable and very well equipped, with good bedroom accommodation. Every room has its air conditioner, which is important in july!. A very spacious new kitchen with the touch of Italian architecture. The owner was very kind , and Martin , the manager, answered any questions very promptly. We spend 7 great days, relaxing at the garden, visiting many villages of Puglia (that are less than 1,30 hour away) and eating great food.Would highly recommend this property to couples or families who want a very comfortable, relaxed break but with perfect access to the wonderful surrounding area. Cisternino is, in my opinion the most beautiful town in de Istria valley.

Villa Mandorle is a very comfortable , well equipped house. The pool is excellent and well maintained. It overlooks a green valley just outside Cisternino. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning very efficient. It is well positioned to visit Matera, Alberobello and Ostuni and there are beaches within 30 minutes drive. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the villa and Puglia.

We travelld in a group with 8 friends really liked the our stay in the fewo. We loved the lovely swimmingpool, the sitting area outside in front of the house, the rooftop, the well equiped kitchen, the mosquito nets in the windows and doors, the air conditioning in the bedrooms. The communication with the owner and our correspondence in Italy was very friendly and promptly. We would definitely come back! Thank you for everything! :) Laura & friends

Villa: perfect location and equipment for 2 families of 4. Beautiful view. Peaceful. Best quality price ratio. Stay: in the heart of the valley of itria with so many things to see and less than 1h30 drive of the main places to visit in puglia (lecce, matera, polignano, ...) Puglia: we adored! Food, landscape, history, beaches, ... everything is perfect and even in the middle of august not crowded. Hurry up before it is too late!

The most beautiful tranquil setting in rural Italy yet only a short drive to the nearest town that has absolutely everything you may require. The villa is very comfortable and homely and a real touch of Italian architecture. The outside area and pool is very pretty and spacious. Inside the villa it is furnished to a high standard with everything you would have at home. The owner gave a first class level of care and attention to our stay and answered any questions very promptly. We were certainly made to feel very welcome in what feels like a home from home. Would highly recommend this property to couples or families who want a very comfortable, relaxed break but with perfect access to the wonderful surrounding area. Local markets a plenty with fresh food and wine and prices are so low you can really budget if need be but will not scrimp on the standard. We would highly recommend this villa and will be returning again for another piece of Italian tranquility.

Multo Bellisimo! Grazie Milli for everything. The holiday started with such a fantastic and very helpful Ali, who clearly wants your time in her home to be the very best it can be. She is very happy to help and no question is too much trouble. The Villa Mondorle is fully equipped and in the most idyllic setting with views to die for. We had great fun around the swimming pool which was beautifully clean and in an amazing spot. You can just relax and unwind from the pressures of life at home. Puglia is a fabulous area to discover with happy welcoming people, spectacular scenery, meandering roads that lead you to exciting towns where you can watch the world go by with the odd prosecco or two! Just bliss and we will definitely be back for more - thank you - fabulouso

We stayed for four days towards the end of September, and it was a fantastic break. The property itself is very traditionally styled in keeping in with the surrounding area. It was clean, and everything seemed new. Inside was spacious, with a large living room and kitchen/dining room. The property had all the modern facilities you could need (WiFi, washing machine etc). The outside is where we spent most of our time, enjoying the pool area and patio areas for lunches and breakfasts (two areas for this, which was nice). The location itself was extremely peaceful, no noise or light pollution in the evening. Fantastic night sky! A car is a must if you want to get out and about, a highlight was the Cisternino town (5 minutes away). Authentic restaurants all over the town, and all very reasonably priced. Highly recommended, and would visit again.

We have just spent a fantastic few days at Villa Mandorle, and I only wish we could have stayed longer! The house itself is beautiful and comes with everything you could need for a break in the sun, including wifi, dishwasher and washing machine. House aside, we fell instantly in love with the lifestyle Villa Mandorle has to offer: our days started with breakfast outside on the patio, followed by a trip into Cisternino (~10 mins drive, you need a car) to pick up food from the local market and wander through its picturesque streets and alleyways. When we got back we would have a light lunch and then make the most difficult decision of the day: whether to spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool or down by the local beach (~20 mins drive). The decision wasn't made any easier by the gorgeous views one gets lounging by the pool, nor the presence of a second gazebo! We typically headed back into Cisternino for dinner - there are countless local trattorias, ristorantes, masserias and pizza places to choose from and you won't go far wrong whichever you go to. One particular highlight was the tiny crepe shop tucked away down a little alley; another was Bar FOD underneath the clock tower in the main square. Ali was very helpful in the run up to our holiday and answered all our questions promptly, while the woman who greeted us on arrival (apologies - I forgot her name!) did a great job of showing us all the practical stuff one needs to know. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Villa Mandorle to a friend and hope I can come back here again.

This is a lovely villa set in the hills outside Cisternino ( 10 min drive). The location has the most amazing views in a totally quiet setting, even the pool has a wonderful view. The house is very comfortable with good bedroom accommodation set off an openplan, very spacious new kitchen/diner and large sitting area. Great place to cook and then eat on the amazing terrace. The bedrooms are all well furnished and comfortable.

Where do I begin?3 generations of our family stayed over a 2 week period..Met near the house by Coleen, arrived at the house ,an enormous hamper of food was waiting for us including wine. A car is definately need the house is very secluded ,the pool is a little distant from the house. Ali,Colleen arranged a cook for us on 3 days, brilliant to get back from a trip to have the food all prepared and cooked. The area is magical,so much to see. The only negative was it was very hot at night ,a few more fans would have helped .The 4 bedrooms entrance is separate from the house ,perfect for Grandparents or older children. We really hope to go again next year
