Villa Karibu - only 2 minutes walk to the beach!

My husband and I had a wonderful vacation in St Lucia, and this villa was the whole package!! Only a few minutes to the cove with beautiful views looking out to the ocean. You can hear the waves crashing on the shore from the balcony! The sunset was absolutely gorgeous! We would highly recommend this villa! It’s close to restaurants, shops, and the Marina.

The location is so peaceful and beautiful! Will was so helpful in recommending and organizing activities and restaurant reservations. The house had everything we needed and more. It was a great vacation, would highly recommend it!!

amenities. Clean and well-stocked kitchen. nice bathroom essentials provided and plenty of beach/pool towels. We loved how close we were to Chateau Myo and we ate there several times and did take out :)

We enjoyed our stay. Check in was simple. Will met us and did a quick walk through. The location was great for us. Lots of privacy as we prefer to be away from the crowed all inclusive resorts. Cooking was great using the barbq and bar area nightly. Air conditioning was great and each room individually controlled. Kitchen nice and dishwasher a bonus as well as washer/dryer. Showers were hot. Pool very nice and clean with lounging chairs and two umbrellas. Plenty of shade on balconies if desired. Outdoor area was great...loved the tables and hammocks ect. So nice for evening drinks/card playing ect. Short walk to beach area. Beautiful spot. Found alot of sea glass. Went snorkeling and seem alot of fish. Its a rocky bottom but beautiful cove. Just wear shoes and fine for swimming. Had fish dinner supplied by local...all just a few minutes walk away. There were a couple issues but resolved quickly. Just things that happen especially Caribbean travel. The cleaning staff were pleasant and polite. We spent most days exploring the Island. So nice arrive back to enjoy the pool and our outdoor space. Its definitely a great choice if your looking to rent a car and do your own thing. This is our second time to St Lucia in one year. We love the Island and prefer this accommodation over our last. I don't believe you would be disappointed if you book it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Will was a great contact to have during our trip. The house was perfect for the four of us, and the view was incredible. We rented a car and felt like the location was a good spot for day trips. But we also spent a lot of time just at the house and in the bay. The pool was amazing and the access to the cove was nice to have! The local restaurants were also great. The villa had everything we could have needed kitchen wise, there were plenty of beach towels which was so nice and I’m sure if there was anything we needed Will would have helped us get it!

We had a great time at Villa Karibu. The pool is very nice with chairs and umbrellas. AC in the living room area and bedrooms is a huge plus. Lots of towels and beach towels.

Beautiful property with wonderful access to a nice beach with good snorkeling. Morning coffee with that view was fabulous. Very responsive property owner/manager. Only surprise was how crappy the roads up there are lol but I am a mountain girl so I’m used to crappy roads. Beautiful sunsets too. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Our family had a wonderful time at Villa Karibu. The property was beautiful and well maintained.

We had a wonderful stay. The villa is beautiful and well equipped and most importantly, within walking distance to a gorgeous cove that was great for snorkeling. Take your water shoes- there are a lot of rocks as you enter the water, but well worth it. The scenery from the villa balconies is fabulous (especially sunsets) and the sound of birds throughout the day is lovely. The gorgeous gardens are full of various fruit trees, and we had fresh pineapple, star fruit and herbs every day! Lorna brought us fresh mangoes from her yard, too! Will and the staff took good care of us. Will arranged for Anthony to do the airport pick up and drop off, which was great. He also arranged for the private water taxi to the southern beaches- fantastic experience. The only downsides to the trip were the steep & rocky road to the villa (took some getting used to) and the car rental company charging 15% fee for credit payment (we paid cash). We had a really wonderful vacation and will be coming back again for sure!

We had a fantastic 8 days at Villa Karibu. Will and his team communicated almost immediately upon booking, and continued to be helpful throughout. The villa was well appointed, the pool well cared for and refreshing, the house immaculate, and the semi private beach just as described.

When we booked, we tried hard to find exactly what we wanted, as always, and this really was that. It's not easy to find Villas in the Caribbean with full air conditioning and a pool, but this has both. It's been through some considerable renovations and they have enhanced the property. Driving there is a little challenging, the roads aren't the best but we hired a Jimny and ended up really enjoying the trips out. Marigot bay itself has a number of places to eat, and although they are all in resorts, it's possible to eat there without being a gust of the resorts. On the hill, The Villa restaurant was a revelation and has to be tried, we went there twice and enjoyed the tasting menu both times. The staff looking after the Villa are lovely and we felt very well looked after. They also understood that we value our privacy on holiday and accommodated that. Will, the property manager also looked after us really well. The only slight negative is that someone has written a blog about the secret little cove below the villa, and it's no longer a secret.. however, that did not spoil our enjoyment of this great Villa.

Property was exactly as described - Excellent! Will (Property Manager), Housekeeping and Landscape/Pool crew all were a pleasure to deal with. The view of the cove (only a few minute walk) was breathtaking and the snorkeling at the cove was great. There were several nice restaurants within a few minute drive down around the Zoetry resort as well.

The property is equipped brilliantly for a comforable stay in paradise. The only areas we could really comment needed some updating was the pool area, with missing tiles/cement in places. Also the road to the property is pretty awful. First impressions driving the road were sketchy, but soon you become accustomed to all the lumps and bumps. It adds true st lucian character to your stay. Will was a fantastic villa manager and arranged trips for us and accommodated for our late flight home by locating us in a free nearby villa, so we were comfortable on our last day also. We would absolutely come back.

The property was perfect, view was perfect, and location was perfect! The property manager, Will, was so helpful with excursions and things to do! All the way recommend this place!!

Thank you so much for a great place for my family to stay on our 7 day vacation . The property and people were just awesome .We enjoyed the secluded quiet property with the options of staying in and relaxing near the pool or driving to other locations on the island . With Marigot Bay being so close we hired a boat several times to see the coast line , snorkel & fish . This was a great spot for our active family . ( hiking , snorkeling ,fishing ,shopping & good dinners made this spot the right choice for us ) thank you again . Great job

House was beautiful and comfortable. Wonder view of bay. Will was an excellent property manager. Anthony our taxi driver was our knight in shining armor. He took us sightseeing,grocery shopping pretty much everywhere and prices were reasonable. 1-758-717-1739 cell. Most reliable taxi driver drove a minibus with ac.

This Villa was very clean and beautiful, we loved the pool and access to the beach. Bedrooms have air conditioning and there is plenty of balcony space with furniture. Located very close to the heart of Marigot Bay.

From the point of booking right up to our arrival, Elena was quick and helpful in her responses. We were put in contact with Will in advance of our arrival who looks after the property. Like many of the roads in St Lucia, the road leading from the bay to the villa was steep and basic so be warned if you’re driving yourself. It was nothing our hire car couldn’t handle though and we arrived in a fairly heavy tropical downpour! Will met us on our arrival to show us around. The property is even bigger than it looks in the pictures and is exceptionally well equipped. All bedrooms had air conditioning and mosquito nets on the beds which proved very much a requirement! The views from the master and 2nd bedroom balconies were great looking out over the ocean. The outside area with its pool, bar and seating areas were amazing and where we spent the majority of our time when we were at the villa. There is a small beach a short walk down from the villa which is almost private. We walked down into Marigot bay every day for drinks/food and whilst steep, was perfectly achievable for somebody reasonably fit and able. The bay itself doesn’t have a huge amount of establishments and we went early in the season so everywhere was still quite quiet. Overall, Karibu was a great base to enjoy Marigot bay and explore further afield if you have your own car. Will was always on hand to answer any questions and we would recommend Karibu to anyone considering staying in this area. We will return!

From start to finish everything was flawless. Speaking to Elena to change a few things was flawless and she was wonderful and and very prompt. The property manager Will was also so helpful from before the stay, during and after. He assisted with any of our needs or wants and always a text away for help or had a guy for everything. The house was lovely and the view was breath-taking. We found the private beach to be more peaceful then the rest of the beaches and spent a lot of time there by ourselves. Her staff goes above and beyond. My hiking shoes came back cleaner then they came thanks to the outstanding gardener who even washed our car one day....amazing. You just can't go wrong staying in this villa and it has so much room! Thank you for letting us borrow your piece of heaven.

We had an incredible stay at Villa Karibu in St. Lucia! The views from the villa were absolutely breathtaking, especially the sunsets – truly unreal! The house itself was beautifully designed, with plenty of balcony space to enjoy the stunning surroundings. The pool and bar area were fantastic, making it the perfect spot to relax and soak in the beauty of the island. The villa is very secluded, which adds to its charm, but keep in mind that you'll need a taxi to get anywhere. It would be nice if there were some seating on the MBR balcony to fully enjoy the private views from that space. Also, the road leading to the villa is quite rough, so be prepared for a bumpy ride. Overall, if you're looking for a peaceful retreat with jaw-dropping views and amazing amenities, Villa Karibu is the place to be!
