Villa in Monopoli for 12 guests in six bedroom

Nice big home that is well kept and clean. The host was welcoming and the location was convenient to get to the attractions in the surrounding area.

We had the best visit with family and meeting new family. The villa was a perfect location for exploring the region and all of us had the most enjoyable time. Vito and MariaFranca the perfect hosts!

Everything is amazing except no air conditioning in the house !

We have had a fantastic holiday in the masseria.Vito is a perfect host, he wants to make you feel comfortable and thinks of everything. For example, he arranged that 2 cots and 2 high chairs were ready and all beds were made. We have traveled a lot in our lives, but I have never seen a stay where so many kitchen utensils and crockery etc were available. Really grand. The house has everything for at least 12 people and much more, so that you can eat together at the table both inside and outside. The bathrooms are fine and the bedrooms very romantically decorated. Everywhere mosquito nets in the bedrooms. Great beds. He also picked us up because our car was stolen and we had no transport to the Masseria. He arranged a car for us and that was all very friendly !! Conveniently, we were able to communicate with him through a lady friend who acted as a Dutch interpreter. He Vito was always available everywhere and gave us good tips. Supermarket etc is nearby and a 7 min drive from Castellana Grotte. There is a beautiful b b q and a very nice pizza oven and lots of outdoor space. Beautifully Massaria which is as in the pictures. Thank you Vito for everything  

Vito could not have been more helpful and welcoming and we were overwhelmed to receive a gift of beautiful fresh cherries from his orchard. Not only were they tasty but displayed like a flower arrangement. Grazie mille

we stayed here for eight days last september and had a fantastic time. the house is really spaciousand the kitchen is very well equipped. we were with our son who is three and he had a great time to. he had all the space to run around and we didn't have to look where he was all the time because he couldn't leave the property. there is a small bedroom for children next to the master bedroom so that was good to. it has a very large fruit and olive garde behind the house with figs lemons olives cherries wich you can pick right of the tree. during our stay only the figs were still on the tree because the other seasons had been allready but they were amazing. keep in mind you need a car during your stay because you are 15 min drive from the closesed supermarket. i would very much recommend this house for families.

Casala Don Ambrogio Was a fabulous place to stay! It is located in the beautiful countryside in the olive and cherry trees, so if you go at the right time of year there are plenty of cherries to eat (which we certainly did!). Vito, the host, also makes great olive oil from the trees there, which we loved! The casala is well equipped with everything you could want. It was very clean, with nice linen and towels. There is plenty of space for everyone. We were two couples, but it would be perfect for families too. There is a lovely garden with 3 different outdoor places to eat and we had all our meals outside. The outdoor wood oven was great - we used it often, with advice from the lovely lady next door who showed us the 'right' way to do it (and who showered us with lovely homemade Puglian treats!). The location is lovely. It was nice to be in the countryside but the towns are all close enough to explore. We drove all over the area, but it was always nice to come home to our quiet, peaceful casale at the end of the day. There are basic food shops and other provisions within a couple of kilometres, so you can stay close to home if you choose. Be sure to try the traditional focaccia at Il Boss, it's AMAZING! Vito is a great host, very prompt at replying and keen to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You will not regret your choice to stay here - we will certainly try to return!!
