Stayed Jul 13, 2024When we got there, there was food on the floor, the pillows and bedding felt used rather than freshly cleaned, the window blinds fell off when we tried to raise them, there wasn’t enough toilet paper or towels for the week with only a washer. The person that was there during our arrival was in a rush and didn’t want to stay to answer our questions or help with our check in. Even though the garage was advertised in the byline, we were told when we arrived that we couldn’t use the garage (although halfway through the trip, the management company said they made a mistake and left a key in the lock box. The management company said they wanted to deliver a new couch but when we returned home, just a mattress and some boxes were left in our hallway. If you want a party house with noisy neighbors who party until the middle of the night and often early in the morning and leave trash and broken glass on the sidewalks surrounding the house, then this house is for you; otherwise, I do not recommend it. I have stayed in 5 places during my stay in Portugal and they were all lovely and the we were well received. This was not one of those places.
