Villa Gioconda: A charming three-story villa located on a hillside, facing the sea, with Free WI-FI.

We had a great trip (3 adults, 3 kids). The farm next door was a great touch with all the animals. Would highly recommend. High up in the hills with a gorgeous view of the sea and superb sunsets.

It was very nice. The two women who took care of the house were very nice. The pool was excellent and was cleaned every second day. We were very satisfied.

We were a family of 9 people and spent one week at Villa Gioconda. We really enjoyed the villa, its wonderful open view and the outdoor spaces, where there were enough sunbeds and room for everyone. The bedrooms were very comfortable with good air conditioning. Every day, we had the precious help of Anna [the caretaker] , who discreetly took care of everything with great attention. She looked after the pool, the plants, the garbage, and was always ready to assist us whenever we needed something. Thanks to her, our stay was even more comfortable and carefree. This villa is definitely an address to recommend. From here, it is easy to explore both the Amalfi Coast to the north and the beautiful region of Calabria further south. The communication with the Summer in Italy team was easy. Love Italy Thank you, it was all perfect !

Our stay was perfect! The villa caretaker even prepared two wonderful meals for us!!! Location, pool, condition of the villa, and price was primary factors in our decision to pick this villa. And it was the right one!

It was everything promised in the booking and the host was great. The view, especially the sunset silhouetting the island of Capri, was magnificent.

Very beautiful house with a great view over the Amalfi coast. Ana is very nice and baked a cake for us. A bit difficult to have a conversation with the ladies. Ana just speaks Italiano and her daughter in law just a little German but no English. The children loved the pool. The place was clean and big.

Bottom line at the top: It was exactly what we needed, we loved it and would recommend it without hesitation. You need a car, though. Interior: We are a family of five adults who wanted separate rooms for all of us. Villa Gioconda provided this perfectly, with almost one bathroom per person. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures and has several indoor and outdoor spaces, at least three dining tables, including an enormous space in the basement with a chimney and it's own brick pizza oven. We did not use that but we did use the grill in the terrace. The interior looks a little dated but is very spacious and provided ample space for hanging out. The kitchen could be better stocked with basic implements, like a sharp knife to cut bread, but is delightful, spacious and homey and we spent a lot of time there. This place is designed to hold a large family reunion. Exterior: The outside spaces are many and varied and offer a perfect view of the bay of Salerno. Perfect for having a family meal or a cup of wine. The pool is exactly as shown and was very clean. Location: Beautiful views, lovely, quiet surroundings, on top of a hill. A car is needed to go down to Agropoli, the nearest village, though the trip is not long, about ten minutes. There is a nearby beach and national park. Thank you Luca and Klint, you made this experience easy and fluid. Summer in Italy keeps just the right amount of communication to make you feel cared for, without making it feel like it's too much. They are invariable polite, the response time is quick (allowing for a difference in time zones) and you get all the information you need for arrival and departure, with even some useful tips along the way. Highly recommended and will definitely use again.

We had an amazing and relaxing week in this enormous villa with a fantastic view. Anna was wonderful, gave us some homemade cheese and olive oil and even baked a cake for us. Great experience with Luca and Summer In Italy, excellent communication, and information. I certainly will use your company again if I should book my next villa in Italy!
