Absolutely stunning location and exactly what we hoped for. Oasis nestled in the heart of wine country but secluded and private. Really a gem! Highly recommend. Thank you!
Fantastic property in serene location including mild earthquake and wildlife. More towels and crisper hotel like sheets would elevate experience
We had a perfect refreshing and relaxing few days in this beautiful Glen Ellen retreat. Wonderful!
The home was every bit the beauty it was shown to be online, full of charm and comfort. I am forever grateful for the family time and new memories we made over this past weekend. This gorgeous home was perfect for 6 people. The hosts are gracious and very responsive- great communication! I highly recommend.
We loved our stay at Villa Gaia! The pool was absolute heaven. Glen Ellen is a sweet little town and close to many wine tastings. Easy access into Sonoma and Napa as well. Hosts were excellent and very responsive! I would definitely recommend staying here!
The home and location were beautiful, and the hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. We would have loved a few more items on hand that are typically found at VRBOs (soap, shampoo, wash cloths, Kleenex, cooking oil), but those are minor complaints. Our first 24 hours were a bit rough (especially at this price point) in terms of how HOT the house got without A/C or sufficient fans during a very high temperature week. We also were awakened at 5:30 a.m. by jackhammering on the farmland and a crew of 10-15 men walking around the property. It was not disclosed to us that they'd be there and it definitely startled us as three women staying alone at the house. I think all of our little gripes about our stay could have been resolved if we'd just known to expect them ahead of time. Overall, the positives outweighed the negatives and we loved many aspects of the property. The house itself is beautiful and made for a nice place to relax during our time in Sonoma County. (Note: The road up to the house takes a solid 7-10 mins from the highway turnoff. I'd definitely recommend AWD on the bumpy bits! We were glad we had a Jeep!)
