Villa Casa Vieja de Bueu with Mountain View, Wi-Fi, Garden & Terrace

Lovely property, panoramic views of the Ría Pontevedra. Well landscaped property, very secure. Our ‘casita’ had two very short and uncomfortable beds, however. uncomfortablbeds

Our host was very welcoming and gave us some suggestions for the area. The villa itself was well maintained with a gorgeous garden and spectacular sea views. It was a very relaxing environment.

Pros: We enjoyed our stay. Carlos was friendly and helpful. The view from the villa is the strength of the property. Inside, though fine for two people, it is quite small. The bedrooms in particular are very tight. The villa has a certain old fashioned charm, though would benefit from updating. The kitchen is rather tired. We were happy to do our own cleaning, though cleaning products were not provided which made this more of a challenge. We acknowledge that the price during April was very reasonable.

Pros: The property is typically Spanish, set in nice peaceful surroundings with hosts that you let you get on with it but are there if & when required lovely people. It is a 15 min walk into Bueu & 20 back,up hill. The views from the property are superb & it is so relaxing. Bueu itself is small but nice, mainly Spanish people, we had 14 days there & did not hear another Brit until our 12th day, you've got to admit that can't be bad. Vigo is just a 30 min drive away & well worth a visit or overnight stay, once again limited Brits. Sorry to go on about us Brits but I think you get the gist. I hate to say this but give it a try you will love it.

Pros: Drie volledige slaapplaatsen, het vierde bed zat in een kast in de woonkamer. Nooit gebruikt van gemaakt omdat we met 3 personen waren. Heerlijk rustig, goede plek om uit te rusten alleen blaffende honden af en toe 's nachts. De foto van het interieur komen overeen met het huisje, maar de buitenkant ziet er heel anders uit. Er staat een hek om het huis, met ruimte voor een royaal terras, geen gras, maar men kan gebruik maken van de ruime tuin van de eigenaar. Veel privacy. De hond van de eigenaar wordt vastgebonden totdat iedereen slaapt. Veel rustige strandjes.

Pros: The view is fabulous and the garden very well cared for and attractive. The house is a bit small for 4 people - the bedrooms (for 3) are tiny and the fourth bed was in the sitting area. This is fine when the weather is good, but it wasn't so every day for us and we had to spend time indoors. Bueu itself is really disappointing, but there are some nice beaches and better facilities elsewhere in the area.

Pros: Diese Haus liegt wunderschön mit einem tollen Blick auf die Bucht. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich.

Pros: Heerlijk deel huis met veel ruimte rondom met zowel zon en als schaduw plekken. Door de ligging t.o.v. het huis van de eigenaar en ander verhuurde delen veel privacy. Overdekt terras met grote tafel. Hulpvaardige en redelijk engels sprekende eigenaar Carlos. Badkamer was klein, maar schoon en goed bruikbaar. Slaapkamers zijn eenvoudig. Enige wat ontbrak was een waterkoker, maar ja water kun je ook koken in een pannetje.

Pros: We had a really good time in Bueu, however, there is a few things related to the house that I would like to mentioned: - Shower cubicle is too small - Apparently there are plans to replace it for a bigger one. Also need to be kept a bit cleaner. - Dishwasher is a must - really annoying to have to do the washing up every time you have food in the house. - The location of the house is good but it felt more than 300mtrs from the beach as indicated in the website. If you have a young kid and need to use a pushchair is not the best location as it's hilly and either you take a really long hilly walk or a shortcut throught stairs. In terms of the beaches,we found stunning beaches outside of Bueu town, only a few minutes driving. Not easy to find but worthwile.
