Villa Borboleta Dream Villa In Algarve (20479/AL)

We had an excellent stay at this property — a very nice Portugal vacation rental with a pool, and it was fantastic. The home was comfortable, clean, and exactly as described. The pool was a huge highlight for our family.Our hosts were extremely communicative and helpful. Any time we needed something, they responded quickly and were truly wonderful to work with. The local town was great and the locals made us feel comfortable. We had a great time and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Marie and Ray were wonderful hosts … the house was perfect for our stay. Lots of inside areas to keep the baby and toddlers occupied in the heat and outside space for eating was delightful with a good bbq

It’s a nice place and great location, the decor and room sizes are a bit dated. Hosts were accommodating by allowing 1 hour early check in and luggage storage prior to checkin time. Wi-Fi was accessible in main area downstairs, but not as strong on upper levels or rooms. Hosts were super responsive and provided support to large group. Make sure you read the fine print as there are things that are not included in original price, such as air conditioning, pool heating, tourism tax, or towel staining fee. Other than this, it was a great experience.

Fabulous villa with loads of space for a big family. Biggest bonus was the lovely pool. We went in August and had it heated, well worth as the 6 children spent many hours in the water. Great bedroom space. Small supermarket and pizza restaurant an 8 minute walk from the villa.

Overall well positioned and well equipped…. Perhaps a bit more shade around the pool .The pool was a good size for our group of 9.We all enjoyed the table tennis. A good BBQ area and terrace . Quite a lot of ground for the grandkids to explore make dens and hide .

I have just returned home to Norway after a wonderful week in Villa Borboleta. We were 12 friends all around 64 years old who really enjoyed the beautiful poolarea with plenty of sunbeds, nice big diningtable for good meals and good portugise wine, nice walks down to the charming little town of Carvoeiro ( and very affordable taxi back home ) The beautiful house was perfect for us with nice big bedrooms and bathrooms, and the house was well equipped with everything we needed and it was very clean. The communication with our host Marie was nice and friendly and all in all we could not be more satisfied. I also want to mention that the whole process with my reservation and payment went smooth without any problemsMarit, Norway

Overall a geat visit. Easily accomodated all 13 of us.Our 6 Grandchildren enjoyed the heated pool, fruit trees and spacious villa and yard to run around and explore!Best Regards Linda and Bert

Our stay at the villa was excellent! Enough room for the 15 of us, from an 8 month old to 65! Everyone enjoyed having the pool to play in and the location was great, close to town and restaurants. Marie was very available for any queries with very prompt response. Would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at this stunning villa in the Algarve. The large, bright rooms are beautifully designed, and the spacious garden with a large pool is perfect for relaxation. The host was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always willing to help. The villa is equipped with everything you could possibly need, offering high-end amenities. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Absolutely fantastic Villa & location. Marie & Ray had thought of everything to make our holiday fabulous. There were bed guards for children’s beds which were a very welcome addition as hadn’t worked out a contingency for that. The views from the upstairs room were amazing, I can still visualise them now. Have to admit to being sorry to leave. Thank you Marie & Ray, you were wonderful hosts.

Great property with lots of space for families or large group of people. Super outside area for dining with BBQ and a lovely big swimming pool which can be heated. Children loved it as did the adults! Property is in an excellent location. A short walk to local bars and restaurants and mini supermarket and about a 15/20 minute walk to Carvoeiro with lots of shops and restaurants. Walk back is up a rather steep hill but there are plenty of taxis to take you back to the villa! All in all a great place to holiday in the sun.

A warm welcome from the owner and generous welcome hamper. The villa had everything we needed with a fabulous outside/pool area. We really enjoyed our stay.

Superb property .. spacious and well laid out .. easy to keep an eye on the grandchildren in the pool .. spotlessly clean .. great location would recommend to anybody
