Stayed Aug 30, 2024Overall, this is a beautiful villa best described by listing pros and cons: Pros - the pool is amazing and the outdoor space is off the charts - the bedroom and bathroom in the annex are wonderful with great AC when you need it - the kitchen and dining areas are nice Cons - the villa is not well-stocked like other VRBOs. You will have to buy pretty much everything from toilet paper & paper towel to basic kitchen needs, toiletries, etc. - we couldn't make the stove or oven work & there were no instructions. The microwave wouldn't open & the pans in the oven were disgustingly dirty. - the trullo part of the villa is not air conditioned and gets really hot and musty, I wouldn't sleep there - the last road to the villa is super narrow with rock walls on either side so be super cautious with rental cars - when booking, Villa Plus requires 100% upfront payment & there are NO refunds under any circumstances. A friend that was traveling with us was diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo aggressive treatment and as a result, couldn't come on the trip. Even with 3 months notice, Villa Plus would give zero refund on compassionate grounds so we had no choice but to keep the booking and cover the entire cost for only 2 people, not impressed.
