Stayed Dec 28, 2019The villa on the surface had great potential, nice kitchen well equipped, but in fact was only set-up as a summer rent, there is no heating except in the master bedroom where the air conditioning unit doubles as a heater, downstairs in the large living area an open fire is the only method of heating. One small portable radiator was provided but was not sufficient, the heated towel rails in the bathrooms didn’t provide any warmth. The villa also does not provide enough hot water when more than 3 people wish to shower. Sadly we would not wish to return, as the lack of heating in the winter will also be a lack of air conditioning in the summer. It is a shame as the villa has great potential and the location excellent with easy reach of the town.

Stayed Jun 1, 2018The villa is in a great location for being both away from the centre but also close enough to walk to amenities, although neighbouring dogs can be quite noisy at various times of the day thankfully not during the night. The villa itself is lovely, especially the covered terrace & pool area which we used all the time. The WiFi did cause a bit of an issue as the owners had locked away the normal router so the villa management had to provide a prepaid alternative which ran out twice during our stay, but Susie was great and dealt with this the best she could. It’s not great though that the TV runs via the WiFi so no WiFi no TV.... All in all it was a lovely 2 weeks, the weather was not the best but who can control that!! There is plenty to do in the surrounding area and lots of great places to visit..

Stayed Oct 22, 2017The house is central to both Benagil and carvieuera. A 10 minute walk to several restaurants, one was particularly good with a swing in the garden to occupy the smaller generation. Either a 30 minute walk, or a few minutes drive from Benagil, it's caves, beach and lovely restaurants. I'd recommend a car to explore further afield and to get to the larger supermarkets. There's nothing better than picking a fresh pomegranate to dress a salad, then enjoy an evening meal next to the pool.

Stayed Sep 3, 2016The property itself very clean and spacious. The pool was excellent apart from the uneven tiles at the bottom which caused 2 injuries. The location was very nice with easy walks to the coast and local restaurants . The only fault was that people nearby had numerous dogs that did not stop barking. Only got 4-5 hours sleep at night!

Stayed Jul 6, 2016We arrived this nice villa just outside Carviero. Thanx to Susie that organised everything well. This white villa is just ten minutes outside Carviero. Close to Rocka Mar. Good parking for several cars. We had two. Nice pool area. The beds are a bit hard and the diningtable is small to seven people. This can easily be fixed. Very happy about this place. Close to beaches and other activities. Many golf cources close by.
