Vale do Lobo Design Resort Villa: private heated pool with kids section

Villa was great and the host provided everything for young children - stair gates, high chair, cot etc. great location - only 15 mins to the beach. Restaurants and activities just a 5 min drive too which is great. Host was very fast at responses and helped with everything we needed. Overall a great place and host!

Had a fab time at this villa. Firstly, it was absolutely spotless. Loved all the little outdoor spaces, the split level living area with ample seating, and the pool was a great size. All bedrooms are spacious with plenty storage for clothes, and the kitchen, although not big had everything you could possibly need. Lynn was really lovely and made sure she covered all aspects of what I may need during my stay. There's also a very well presented and laid out welcome folder containing so much information about the area, and further afield, to help you get the most out of your stay. The area itself is quiet, a few minutes walk to tennis courts, restaurants are a bit further but still within walking distance. I hired a car and found I could visit most surrounding towns within 15-20 mins. I felt at home straight away in this villa and would highly recommend it.

We stayed in the villa for just under two weeks and could barely fault the trip! The villa is about a 20 minute walk from Vale do Lobo main beach front, and also the other direction to Maria's/Julia's beach. We hired a car, which really helped with travel to the supermarket, restaurants, and beaches if we didn't feel like walking! You could definitely manage without though, especially if you make use of the e-bikes. The villa itself is in a gorgeous area next to the tennis academy, with a lovely pond area out the front. The layout is perfect for friend or family groups, there were two couples and a toddler in our group and it was perfect. The host was great, giving us lots of advice beforehand, and setting up the villa with stairgates, highchair, travel cot and toys for our daughter. The villa has everything you need to be comfortable and cook at home, we also barbequed a couple of times, which was great. There are a few outside areas to sit, which are lovely. Honestly can't think of anything negative! We would love to go back and stay again.

A great experience. The villa internally is very good and well presented. The pool was smaller than we expected but not a big issue. Lynn was a superb host and we were constantly asking her questions which she happily answers within minutes!

We have just returned from our holiday in Vale do Lobo and were all really sad to leave. The villa is perfectly situated in a cul de sac, overlooking a water feature and within a few hundred metres of a small playground. The Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy is a few minutes walk away, providing access to beautifully maintained tennis courts, a well equipped gym and a small cafe area. There are two beaches are within 15mins walk from the villa. These are long, clean, sandy beaches just perfect for morning runs or playing with the children. In light of the time of year, the beaches were really quiet which meant that there was loads of opportunity for ball games, flying a kite or just relaxing in the Autumn sun. We hired a car with the intention of doing some sight seeing. Although the car was used for the supermarket shops we had so much fun at Vale do Lobo we didn't venture outside of the resort. The villa itself was a really comfortable and easy place to stay. Everything worked, everything was clean, the beds were comfortable and it was evident that Lynn had thought about the extras. The kitchen was really well equipped, the utility had everything you would expect at your home (and a Dyson hoover which was SO useful!) and little things like towel radiators which meant that in colder evenings we could dry our towels. Lynn was there to meet us on the first day and gave us lots of useful advice on the villa and the surrounding area. We left our holiday with so much more to go back to see and do. We will definitely love to return to Vale do Lobo again soon!

This beautifull villa is very well equipped to give you everything you need for a brilliant family holiday. Lynn is a dream to deal with and Vale do Lobo is a gorgeous destination. Only a 20 min walk to the Praca or get an Uber - only about €3 a trip. We'll be back!

We’ve just enjoyed a week at the villa with our parents and little baby. It’s set up with everything you need, feels very spacious and is in a great location. Lynn was so helpful before and during our stay. We’d thoroughly recommend, especially for families

Family of 6 - grandparents, parents and grandchildren (4 years old and 18 months) had a lovely week in this villa. Lynn the owner was extremely helpful and was in contact before and during our stay, going out of her way to check that everything was as we wanted and to answer any questions. This linked villa is located in a quiet cul de sac off the main road to the tennis academy. The front of the villa has a lovely open view across to other villas, with a large pond surrounded by a low wall and trees in between, whilst the back is completely private looking out onto a wooded area. The pool at the back includes a shallow children's area and we asked for the pool fencing to be put up as well. There is a table, chairs and loungers at the front of the villa, and next to the pool at the back, and on a roof terrace at the top of the house, so there's plenty of space to spread out and to move between sun and shade. The villa is well equipped, and special provision is made for young families, even down to toys and inflatables which can be used in the pool. If anything, we think this villa undersells itself!

I couldn’t recommend this Villa higher. It is perfectly situated in Vale de Lobo, the beautiful surrounding scenery greets you as soon as you arrive with spectacular beautifully maintained grounds at the front of the villa. It is lovely both inside and out. Everything is catered for and I really do mean everything. Lynn has second guessed anything that a guest might require and it has been supplied. There is an extensive guide to the house and local facilities so we wasted no time in familiarising ourselves. The villa is immaculate both inside and out. So clean that it felt like we were the first people to have stayed there. More importantly Lynn herself is at hand for anything you might need whether it be simple questions or some advice on what’s going on in and around Vale de Lobo. You would expect comfortable beds in any villa but these were on a whole different level. So much so we had to take a look to see what brand they were as both myself and my wife had great comfortable nights. We were surprised to see that our notion of buying some ourself for our own home would cost us thousands of pounds, Yes really! I could wax lyrical of our stay at the villa for many many more words than this review permits. In summary perfect. You will not find a more pleasing, better managed villa than this.
