Reviewer Comments: The online check-in experience with Palmetto Dunes was seamless (they mailed everything to us approximately 10 days before check-in) and the rental property matched the description and photos. Key highlights included, bunk beds, closeness to the pool and beach/ocean, The Dunes House, and accessibility to restaurants, shopping, and attractions throughout the island.

I hate to complain but not happy with the condition of this condo. The back bed room with the bunk beds the bathroom sink when you out stopper down to fill with water got stuck and need a knife to open it. Bathtub standing to take a shower was very slippery and nothing to hold on too. All the kitchen and bathroom counters I had to wip them all down. Main bedroom had no mattress pad and the mattress was torn. The out side furniture needs to be replaced couldn’t sit on chairs due to splinters. Needs a good cleaning

The only issue was that the toilet in the master suite ran so we turned it off but it was not an issue since there was 2 other toilets. Mattresses were comfortable.

We enjoyed the condo rental and had great use of the bunk beds for our three kids. We liked it so much that we even booked the same unit again for next year for two weeks. The cons we had - - lights for the outside steps were either burnt out or broken, causing a semi-dangerous walk up and down at night. Lights also burnt out and broken on the master bedroom balcony. - Mold smell and mold spores on almost all AC vents and even on the AC unit. The filter should also be changed every 30 days in a setting like this. - You could tell the unit was cleaned for us upon arrival, but it was just that, cleaned to look nice. There was no effort to clean and sanitize the counters, floors, sinks, bathrooms, etc.; the whole unit needed disinfecting. I understand there is a minimal timeframe to flip the unit. Still, I would rather wait a little longer for a cleaner/disinfected unit than get sick from other families' leftovers...
