Stayed Apr 18, 2025This property has an amazing view from the pool and a short walk to the beach. We totally enjoyed our stay. We were close to the Castries market, gas station and places to eat. One day we did the Julian land and see boat tour, which was wonderful. We had Anna the chef prepare a wonderful meal for us. Heather was very responsive. We can’t say enough good things about this property.

Stayed Feb 22, 2025We had a lovely stay in this lovely home. We enjoyed the pool every before or after our excursions to Rodney Bay and Holiday Stable Horse riding on the beach. The meal cooked by Chef Anna was a highlight.

Stayed Jan 19, 2025We stayed at this property with a toddler and an infant and had a great experience. It is walkable to the beach and some beach bars/restaurants. A grocery store is a short drive away. Heather was amazing to work with. She arranged for 2 pack and plays for the kids to be in place when we arrived. She was very attentive and made sure we had everything we could need/want. Chef Ann prepared 2 dinners for us and they were both exceptional! Such a nice treat to stay at home with kids and have a restaurant quality meal in the dining room. Thanks Heather and Chef Ann!!

Stayed Jan 11, 2025Wow!We rented Marvin Villa for seven nights and couldn’t have been happier. The setting was absolutely gorgeous! We spent quite a bit of our time sitting on the spacious patio, admiring the beautiful view. It was the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee and evening cocktails. There were four of us (two couples), and we enjoyed having our own private bedrooms and bathrooms. We had everything we needed during our stay, including a kitchen stocked with pots/pans and dishes—and even coffee, milk and a bottle of local rum to welcome us! We also appreciated the clean towels and bedding. The pool and grounds are maintained twice a week, ensuring the perfect island setting. The locked gate provided an extra layer of security. The location was good for us, too—within a five-minute walk to Vigie Beach, with warm water, a white sand beach and a couple of casual, on-beach restaurants. The hosts were communicative and helpful. We took their recommendation for a reliable cab driver, and we enjoyed several dinners at the nearby Coal Pot. A special treat was a chef-cooked dinner at our own villa. Chef Anna worked with us to accommodate our family’s preferences and dietary restrictions. The result was a delicious, intimate dinner In the villa’s spacious dining room. We took a boat ride to see the Pitons up close and spent the afternoon swimming and snorkeling at Sugar Beach. All in all, it was a relaxing, memorable (perfect!) family vacation at Marvin Villa.

Stayed Nov 23, 2024My family (2 adults, 3 teen boys) stayed here for half of our time in St. Lucia. We chose it because we wanted to rent a house from which we could explore the northern part of the island. Long story short, we had a nice time here. The villa was clean and very close to the beach. The check in/check out process was easy. All-in-all, it was as advertised. As somebody else mentioned, the layout is a little funky. The 3 bedrooms and baths are in one wing of the house and the kitchen and living room are in a different wing with their own lock. We rented a car and did our own driving. I will note that the rush hour traffic in the Castries and between the Castries and Rodney Bay can be really bad. I tried to drive into town one morning to pick up some coffees and breakfast to bring back to the villa and that turned into a lengthy ordeal. Parking is also difficult in the center of the Castries. We visited a lot of beaches on the island and found Vigie Beach to be quite charming and one of our favorites. It's much less touristy than others. You can get a rum punch for 10ECD instead of 20USD. All in all, we'd stay here again.

Stayed Apr 20, 2024The house and pool are very nice, although the house layout is somewhat curious (could use a few more keys to the gate to the bedrooms). House is well furnished, could use a few more pool toys. Arranged transport from the airport and a rental car through the owner, that was well done, as was the property manager’s (Maxine) response to a minor maintenance problem. It is close to Vigie beach, within walking distance, but probably not if you’re taking a cooler, etc. Chairs are available at the beach for $10 USD/day; it would be nice if the house had a few beach chairs. The airport is only an issue when the prop planes sit idling for 20-30 minutes, pretty loud with some fumes, but otherwise watching them come and go is interesting. Yes, we’d stay there again.

Stayed Mar 15, 2024Great location except for airport plane noise We enjoyed the house with pool. Our host was exceptionally helpful with restaurant recommendations and supermarkets. Accommodation was well equipped with complimentary coffee, milk water, a bottle of rum. Would certainly recommend it for any travelers to St. Lucia !

Stayed Feb 17, 2024This location is awesome! Spectacular view of the bay and a 2min walk to Vigie Beach. The house is set up like 3 separate suites. The main suite has its own bathroom and shower, the other 2 rooms share a bathroom and shower. The Kitchen and living room space are separate from the rooms but that proved not to be an issue. The Salt water pool was perfect, not too warm or cold and we used it everyday. Lastly, Heather our host was extremely nice to work with. She was very responsive upon arrival at 9:30pm and checked in mid week to ensure we were completely satisfied.

Stayed Jan 26, 2024Marvin Villa was lovely. We were helped out by Maxine who was absolutely wonderful. She was always available and got back to us immediately about everything. She was fantastic and I have only great things to say about her. This villa is on a lovely property but yes, it is by the airport. We were not bothered by this but you can definitely hear the planes. The proximity to Vigie beach is perfect and was one of our favourite beaches, some days it was busier because of the cruise ships and some days we were one of very few families there. There are a few restaurants on the beach as well but make sure you go before 3ish because the food options run out. The location is nice, fairly central, 20 minutes to Rodney Bay and about 40min to Marigot Bay. You will enjoy your time better if you rent a car at least for a few days as there isn't a ton of stuff that is within walking distance. Maxine and Heather can arrange a car for you as well. The villa's main living area is open to air so there were a few bugs, mostly small fruit fly type things, didn't bother us at all but something worth noting. Also, just be aware that VRBO pricing is in AMERICAN. We ended up spending more than we thought because of this. We enjoyed our stay, would recommend.
