Good space Lots of problems Nothing like our previous Vrbo experiences Water leaks, sent maid to repair leaks (guess how that worked out), plumber was promised but never arrived the whole month, no smart tv, expected smart tv at this price (stupid we hadn’t looked at the amenity list as carefully as we should have). Owner then offered arranging for one to be but we didn’t want to be tied to appointments with tv guy, thermonguy plumber. nearly froze to death, tried for days to fix it ourselves without a manual, assuming we were inept, kept getting fooled bc during the day the sun warmed up the condo, only to discover every evening that our latest fix hadn’t worked. Thus many days w/o heat, with more days added b/c no one could help due to the holidays. Even the thermostat guy couldn’t figure out how to program it b/c no manual. He finally set it up so we could raise and lower heat manually as long as we were careful not to touch any other thing, eg the light that made it possible to see. Thermostat guy then discovered the air filter hadn’t been cleaned forever and was completely blocked, thus NO heat. Asked owner for some kind of reduction in rent as compensation for all the hassle, but he declined. Finally he told us we could move out. We looked to move but couldn’t find another place with only a week remaining in our stay. Had he offered this earlier, we would have had a chance. Very very unhappy.
Me and 2 (over 40 year old) friends stayed here for Coachella! It was clean, close and the neighborhood was quiet which was exactly what we needed after a day of sun and music. The pool was close/walkable from our location. When I had an issue because I couldn't find something, they were super responsive and patient. This place was lovely and I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks again!
The villa was great and had the exact set-up we needed. The area is nice and quiet and everything was laid out well. Even though it was a distance from our destinations, we made the most of it. Recommend a rental car or uber to get around.
stayed here for Coachella 2023, flew in from Chicago. the place is clean, quiet. great view of the golf course, great location. within 10 minute drive to Indian well tennis garden for the Coachella shuttle. bed was very comfortable. My stay was for 5 nights, no issues whatsoever. will stay again on future trips.
This was our first visit to Palm Desert, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our villa was beautiful, well stocked, and very conveniently located. We would definitely stay here in the future.
Beautiful quiet accommodations, everything we needed, would definitely stay again!
My girlfriends and I needed a place to stay for the BNP tennis tournament. The location was perfect and the condo was fantastic for enjoying our time relaxing . Perfect set up for 4 people and fun entertainment watching golfers in the sand trap and ducks on the pond. We would book again.
This property and the owner Andrea exceeded our expectations. This property is located on the 14th hole of the community golf course. The course was recently purchased by the home owner association from the previous owner and brought into great shape. The pond seen from the back of the property was filled the day we arrived and it added a natural element that would have been missed without it. The property was well maintained and appointed. The rooms were spacious, the living room furniture was comfortable, the king size beds were really comfortable and the large patio was a real highlight. As for the host, we had a couple of minor issues and questions and Andrea was quick to address them.
My wife and I spent a month here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Some of the interior photos on VRBO are a little blurry, and if anything the real thing is nicer than the photos. The condo is actually a duplex, like all the properties in the resort. There are many different floor plans. Ours was much nicer and larger than the other side, as we visited next door one evening. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are separated from each other by the living room and kitchen and it worked out perfectly for company as we had some friends join us for some of the time. It seemed to be a really good combination of “Retro and Reno.” Obviously you need to shop when you are anywhere for a month, but we found Andrea had it well stocked with towels, linens and supplies on our arrival. The patio is huge, and well equipped for sun tanning and entertaining. We did both, and we used the barbecue the majority of the time for dinner meals. A very pleasant surprise was the attached two car garage. The website only stated parking was available and many at the resort are only equipped with carports or parking pads. We kept all our golf clubs, pool toys and other debris out of the way and not taking up space inside, and our car was always cool and out of the sun. Another bonus we found was use of the land line telephone. We checked with Andrea and she said it was okay to use it, as they had a plan for US and Canada. The Wi-Fi service was good and we used it for data on our laptops and phones. The resort has a very nice clubhouse, with entertainment on the weekend and the opportunity for a few dances and beer. We liked the “crooner” on Saturday more than the country guy on Friday, and a chance to do something different. We don’t mind heat, and golf in the afternoons was quite reasonable around 2:00 through Golf Now or Tee Off. The “twilight” rate though the course doesn’t start until 4:00 despite what their website says. Security at the front gate is reassuring, and you can walk for miles without ever leaving the gated resort property. There are 20 pools in the complex, and there is a really quiet one close, just to the right of the resort entrance. The location in Palm Desert is great. Freedom Park across the street is very nice, and they have playgrounds and a number of tennis and pickleball courts. Close to shopping, including Costco! We had a wonderful time and hope to go again in the future. Overall, our stay exceeded our expectations!.
Renters: 2 Adults and a 7 Month old Baby We are not strangers to traveling to tropical destinations and are aware of critters, but we were very surprised at the lack of support, maintenance and cleanliness of this condo as it was presented to us as being family friendly. This condo does not fit in the category of an executive condo. We will never rent this condo again or recommend this condo rental. Upon arrival the condo appeared visually to be clean however we were overwhelmed with the smell of stale cigarette smoke and within a couple hours a cockroach scurried across the kitchen counter and hid under the microwave. Later another cockroach appeared in the kitchen sink. We contacted “Andrea” and advised her of the critter situation (as where there is one there are more) at which she agreed to contact us in the am of the following day to let us know what they would do to alleviate the situation. We had to contact Andrea the following morning as we did not hear from her and she indicated the cleaner goes to home depot to by the spray and does her house on a weekly basis. She was awaiting a call from the maintenance person and it was agreed she would call back. We never got a call back. Other issues with the condo: • Appeared to be cockroach droppings in cupboards under the kitchen sink and beside the fridge, as well as in the garage, • Frying pans in the kitchen were not useable, • Very dirty in behind the furniture, • Ceiling very dirty with cobwebs and corners had spiders, • Screens in master bedroom and main room patio doors were falling out, • Broken lock on master bedroom patio door, • Toilets did not stop running for quite some time after flushing, • The main bathroom toilet would not flush easily, • The master bedroom shower (the only one we used) has very old fixtures that would not shut off the water and were very calcified, • The pillows in the bedroom were disgusting as they were stained and yellowed (we had to buy new ones – which we left at the condo only because we could not fit in our suitcase), • The mattress cover is yellowed in certain areas, • Crickets inside the condo, • A cockroach approximately 2 inches long in the garage. Positives about the condo: • The resort is very nice and secure, • A nice patio.
