Stayed Jul 13, 2025Very clean for such a big place and well maintained. Very convenient location to see many of Italy's beauty and try some amazing regional food. Camiore itself is full of character and history. Of course did I mention the big private pool?! Yes the pool is a dream on those hot Tuscan days and we spent many dreamy hours there. Claudia, the property manager was a delight to meet and very helpful. She even met us hours earlier than planned - Grazie Claudia!

Stayed May 17, 2025Myself and our friends have just spent 10 days in Tuscany staying at this beautiful old villa..which has great character. The pool was excellent and a great size. The location of the villa allowed easy travel days to Lucca ,Pisa and Sienna by car. We took the train to Florence from Viareggio, easy to park. Only 40mins from Pisa airport which is a plus. Camaiore is a lovely town with coffee shops and pastries. Plus supermarket is only 6 mins from the villa by car. The owner and property manager were very helpful in providing any information required. Garden beautiful and well kept. Lots of areas to eat outdoors. A memorable trip.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We really enjoyed our week at the Villa Bicocche, the weather was perfect for us, around the mid-20's with most days sunny with just onetwo cloudy and one day with a nit of rain. But we could eat outside every meal thanks to the covered veranda on one side and gazebo on the other. The pool really made the holiday, with several days spent lazing on the sun loungers reading books, and dipping in the pool. The children really enjoyed the pool inflatable toys as well. Mosquito's weren't too bad, but on the last dayso we became more aware of them so taking insect repellent and bite cream is a good idea. If you have young children there is a pond ( with a fence around with gaps in) so that does need keeping an eye on. The house was well equipped with everything we needed, and felt like an authentic Italian family home. Found a lovely local restaurant ( Antico Frantoio ) which was great value, very hospitable and perfect for a family meal with young children.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Myself, husband and 4 friends just returned from an excellent holiday with everything we needed within short distance, beach, eating places, supermarkets and large weekly market. The pool area was immaculate and everything we needed for our comforts in the house was there ie reliable wifi, air-con, sat tv channels, towels and sheets. we would recommend this villa and would go back. Thank your Mrs Sonia for your great support and for providing such an amazing Villa

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The property was very old world charm, impeccably decorated and very clean. The garden and grounds were beautifully maintained and the swimming pool was wonderful. The whole of the property was delightful, as were the owners Mario and his wife , who though on site kept themselves to themselves and allowed us to enjoy ourselves uninterrupted. The property is well situated for day trips to Florence, Pisa, Lucca , all of which were fabulous. And locally the ancient town of Camaiore had everything we needed. The only down side of the holiday was the noise from the barking dogs in properties nearby, but once you accept that and enjoy the bird song there was no problem. The high light of the holiday was an open air concert in nearby Viareggio featuring Andrea Botcelli at the Puccini festival . A perfect end to a lovely Italian holiday.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969A wonderful stay - incredibly maintained villa. Beautiful gardens, pool, terrace and lounge area. Great area from which to do day trips. Classic interiors. Beds are pretty old but you get used to them and considering how incredible the rest of the experience is, it was fine. Wake up with roosters from a nearby house, beautiful sunlight and pastries at the town nearby. Soak in the pool and eat at the delicious restaurant up the hill.
