Trullo Mandorlo Private swimming pool - near Ceglie Ostuni and Martina-Valle D'Itria

We had a truly wonderful time at Trullo Mandorlo. We are a family of four: two adults and two children (and 8 and 6) and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this beautiful trullo. The place and surrounding grounds are beautiful, so peaceful and tranquil. Fabio was an exceptional host, nothing was too much trouble and he was so hospitable offering lots of recommendations for local beaches, restaurants and places to visit. 5*!

Better than expected.

We had the most wonderful stay at Antonella’s beautiful Trullo, which is superbly located between 2 lovely towns (Ceglia M. & Martina Franca). The trullo is well equipped and has been lovingly restored. It is set in immaculate gardens and has a most welcoming pool which we spent most our time in. Antonella and Fabio were wonderful hosts and looked after our ever need. We love Puglia and will definitely be back and would highly recommend this trullo to anyone. Thank you both.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Trullo Mandorlo. It is a beautiful oasis in a secluded spot, but still near enough to get to everything by car. Thanks to Antonella and Fabio we had everything we needed, and they are really nice people. The villa is very well appointed and clean. The pool and large gardens are wonderful; there are rosemary and lavender bushes making for lovely aromas, and a very good barbecue. All in all, a superb holiday and can't wait to come again.

The Trullo Mandorlo provided the setting for a wonderful one-week family vacation. From the moment we arrived, Antonella and Fabio made us feel right at home and welcomed us with a wonderful basket of local goodies. Furthermore, they were always available by phone/text/email for assistance or to answer any questions we had. Immersed in the countryside of the Valle D'itria you are a short drive to many nearby towns (ie. Ostuni, Alberobello, Martina Franca) as well as the many wonderful and child-friendly beaches along the coast. However, being able to enjoy the Trullo property was incredibly relaxing as well. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children (ages 4 and 1.5) and there was more than enough space for all of us. The home is very well maintained and the landscaping of the property is quite superb. You are surrounded by lavender and rosemary plants as well as a wide array of fruit trees. The pool provided endless amount of entertainment for everyone (especially the kids!) and spending the evenings enjoying dinner outdoors amidst the peace and quiet of the countryside, will provide many wonderful memories for years to come! What a warm and attentive welcome. It started at Brindisi airport where Fabio, the brother of Antonella - the owner of the Trullo - welcomed us and subsequently guided us to the Trullo, which by the way is also easy to find. At arrival you enter the property through your own gate and via a beautiful drive you find the Trullo, where Antonella was waiting to welcome us. The first impression was overwhelming. A young garden around the Trullo with a brand new pool on a big piece of land in a quiet environment. In the Trullo Antonella surprised us with an extensive welcome package (bread, cookies, jam, tomatoes, milk, wine etc.), more than enough for our first needs. Besides all the necessary things (for cleaning, laundering, showering etc.) to support your daily life, including a complete assortment of toiletries were present. We have never encountered this before (during more than 25 holiday rentals in several countries). The Trullo itself is very well renovated in the spirit of the past and feels cosy. As mentioned the Trullo is on a big piece of land on the countryside, but centrally located (Lecce and Bari are within a 90 minutes drive). Ceigli Messapica, but also Martina Franca are not far away, but a car is really needed. Although early May's weather was not supporting us quite well, we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay in Antonella's Trullo (her dream). When we had to leave after two weeks, there again was the warmth of Antonella (some nice gifts to enjoy and remember Puglia at home) and the openness of her brother Fabio (it felt trustworthy).
