Our family just loved this villa! It had everything we needed for the week. The views were absolutely amazing! Barbara was so helpful. She brought the children fresh eggs from the coop in the morning which they loved and she pointed us in the right direction for sights and restaurants. We took all of her recommendations and it made for a sweet and enjoyable vacation. 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was perfect for our family of 6.

Our stay was absolutely amazing and Barbara is such a kind and attentive host! Barbara makes the most delicious meals we had in Italy.

We had an amazing time at this gorgeous villa! This was by far the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed at and I would give it 10 stars if I could. The beautiful location was perfect for all our day trips to the many medieval towns and area activities. The host Barbara was incredible and prepared delicious dinners and breakfasts for us on the terrace overlooking breathtaking views of San Gimignano. The meals were prepared with fresh ingredients from their own crops and better than any restaurants we visited. She has a passion for what she does and it showed in every detail of our stay. The villa itself is spectacular with high end details everywhere, super comfy beds, great pool and the best views in Tuscany! We hated to leave and will definitely be back! I promise that you will love it too!

Wow. Just wow. Perfect location, stunning view, beautiful pool and authentic Tuscan villa. However, what the Vrbo listing does not illustrate effectively is how amazing the host Barbara is. She has a professional kitchen on site (and a pasta school coming shortly) and is an amazing chef. She can create bespoke dinners from her professional kitchen with indoor or terrace dining. 3 heavenly courses at good prices. Bring your own wine or she will provide. Even glasses of her own vin santo and espresso from her coffee shop quality machine. A stunning stay

We Highly recommend this Beautiful Gem. Very convenient to explore nearby villages then return for afternoon swimming. Barbara was an excellent host and chef who prepared some fabulous al fresco dinners for us.We hope to return many times!

The perfect property and host in Tuscany. Beautiful view of San Gimignano and the countryside. The house is absolutely beautiful and well stocked. The host, Barbara, made an amazing dinner and breakfast using their farm food and wine. A perfect place to relax after visiting all the near by towns. Highly recommend!!!

We couldn't be more pleased with our stay and this outstanding Tuscan Farm house. The apartment itself was even better than the pictures and the views were straight out of a painting. We had two breakfasts and two suppers prepared by Barbara which were better than restaurant quality. What made this stay even more special was our host, Barbara, her father and her nona Vera! Out of all my VRBO experiences, this has been the best by far. We all wish to return.

This was my first time in Italy and our stay at this gorgeous villa was perfect! From the beautiful surroundings to the excellent accommodations, we couldn't have asked for anything more. Each of my guests commented on how wonderful it was to have their own private bedroom, with the most comfortable beds, and private bath and my granddaughter was thrilled with her princess bedroom in the loft. The villa was immaculate, well equipped, beautifully furnished and had the most amazing view. There wasn't one thing lacking. The owners are right on site to answer any questions but stay out of site so it feels like no one else is there but you and your quests. To top it all off, Barbara, the owner, is an amazing cook. She made us breakfast on our first morning there and also dinner for my birthday celebration complete with a homemade cake. These meals were outstanding and if you stay at this villa you must have her cook a meal for you. You won't regret it. And make sure you drink their wine. I think it's the best in Italy!I can't wait to go back to this gorgeous place and can't recommend it enough. Don't even think about it, just GO!

Around 4km from village of San Gimignano so you need a car. Villa looks old but is actually quite new so all bedrooms have spacious well functioning ensuites unlike some centuries old villas. Great place for a large group (we had 8 adults) with 12 others who came for a party in the postcard gardens by the pool. Be aware that certain basics are not sufficient for this number over a week and you will need toilet paper wash cloths paper towels etc. The accom is up a wide attractive flight of stairs on level 1. We did not have a concern with the stairs. Host Barbara is delightful. Provided fresh eggs from her chickens. Helped with getting a taxi to snd from SG. We used this frequently so we could all enjoy a drink. It cost 40 per one way trip which is ok when shared. Sometimes it can be difficult to get a taxi so we booked each return trip as we left tge last. Sonia, tge driver was brilliant. Barbara also cooked us one hot and cold breakfast for 15 pp which was delicious. Loved our stay at Podere Lo Spadino

Perfect home for our home away from home. House is beautiful and hand built by the family. Hospitality is wonderful. The location is perfect for exploring the Tuscany region.

The entire experience (pre-booking, booking, and our stay) was positive. Barbara quickly responded to my inquiries before and after booking and greeted us upon arrival. Plus, she prepared two delicious meals for our group that we enjoyed at the outside dining area—from which we had gorgeous views of the San Gimignano skyline. There are uninterrupted views of San Gimignano from inside, too: from the kitchen, the living room, and one of the bedrooms. We savored those views our entire stay. The house was comfortable, very clean, and had everything we needed. We stayed for one week and used the house as a home base while we explored San Gimignano and other Tuscan hill towns, including Volterra and Monteriggioni (two that we especially enjoyed).

We had a group of nine people. 4 couples and a single. Barbara’s family’s VRBO was perfect for our party of 9. It is simply one of, if not the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. Barbara’s hospitality and her delicious cooking made this a very memorable stay. We had her cook for us 2 nights and the ladies in our group thoroughly enjoyed the cooking class another night. Barbara’s family built this Villa… It is set among Olives tree orchards and vineyards with the ancient towers of San Gimignano in the distance. The Family produces some of the best wines we sampled in Tuscany. ( and we sampled a lot of wine!) We hope to come and visit Barbara and her wonderful Family again in the future. Either by staying in the Vrbo or eating at the future restaurant under construction . The villa is ideally situated for exploring Tuscany . We highly recommend Barbara’s Villa. Grazie, Kelly C.

The spacious accommodation on the first floor offered captivating views over the Tuscan countryside to San Gimignano on the horizon.The garden with its spacious swimming pool and outdoor eating area was greatly enjoyed by everyone. San Gimignano itself was a lovely town to explore with great restaurants and cafes. And the meal prepared for us by Barbara was very special.

We were a family group of 7 adults and enjoyed an excellent week. The property is located on the family farm in a lovely peaceful setting just 10 minutes drive from the centre of San Gimignano. Barbara is a fantastic host and was very responsive to our questions and helped us in organising restaurants. On two evenings she prepared wonderful Italian meals for us to enjoy. The property had all the facilities we required and was perfect for our needs. We would highly recommend.
