Stayed Aug 3, 2025Brilliant small villa for family of 4. The outdoor kitchen is the best we’ve had in any villa. Pool is lovely and lots of little touches make this a very relaxing and enjoyable place to stay. Also very useful to have the train station 3 min walk away. From here you can go into Porto or the Duoro valley. I’m sure we’ll be back and will recommend to others.

Stayed Jul 11, 2025Beautiful Villa! Our stay was peaceful and relaxing and couldn't have been any better. The villa is exceptional and Bernardo was very welcoming and helpful. With fresh bread every morning and jam and mango juice in the fridge and a beautiful pool, we didn't want to leave. We look forward to returning soon and would definitely recommend. Stayed May 6, 2025Wonderful space, very well appointed. Fantastic property, with an excellen host, Bernardo. Great loaction to an authentic Portuguese, non-tourisry town, with lots of food, cafes, and shops. Close to the train station, and well situated btween Porto and Duoro wine region. Highly recommended

Stayed Jun 12, 2024We would like to start off by saying that Bernardo, our host, could not be more welcoming and accommodating! From the beginning to the end of our one week stay he made us feel at home. The warmth of his hospitality could be felt immediately. The home was extremely clean and had every amenity for our stay. Everything from the numerous fruit trees to the outside backyard kitchen and pool made our stay one of the most relaxing vacations that we've had in years! Thank you Bernardo for helping make this a vacation one that we will remember for years! Oh and the daily morning fresh bread delivery was a treat...

Stayed Jun 17, 2023Definitely one of the best places we have stayed. There is a train station to Porto less than three minutes' walk away. In addition to the many restaurants, there is a wonderful water park for children. A great deal of help was provided by our host (Bernardo) with directions as well as being very responsive.

Stayed Sep 17, 2022My partner and I stayed here for one week and honestly had the best week. The villa is clean tidy and well maintained. It is close to shops and restaurants about a 10/15 min walk or 2 minute drive. The town is small and friendly. There is a train station 2 minutes away (we never used this as we had a car, but was handy to know for future). Porto is about 45 mins by car. The host, Bernardo, was really friendly and helpful always making sure everything was okay and we had everything we needed. He goes above and beyond, there are many little extras, like fresh bread delivered in the morning daily, which was very nice. It was so nice to have a private pool and the outdoor space, it just looks so beautiful. We spent 90% of the time sitting in the outside kitchen area or on the sunbeds (they are so comfy). Cannot fault it. Would definitely return.
