Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We felt the resort was lovely, however the whirl pool wasn't functioning. The condo itself was dated, dark and the plumbing was antiquated. We were an elderly group and found the beds difficult to get in and out of as they were very high. Many of the closets were locked which didn't allow us much room for our own things. It was clean however I wouldn't recommend it.

Clean pool, close to the beach, great view, close to golf... great food all over the island...Note management: the entire community and the parking lots need a fresh paving...

Palmetto Dunes is a wonderful resort with a lot of amenities. Pickleball facilities were outstanding, Dunes Buggy was convenient & the drivers were informative. Bike rental was easy. Condo could use some TLC, tub didn't drain, cabinets & fridge didn't close well, felt very cramped with all the unusable furniture, elevator was broken on the day of our check-in and we were on the 4th floor, pool was closed for 2 1/2 days with no notification or information.

I was carrying luggage to car at 9:20 am. When I returned to the room I found my wife upset. The cleaners arrived at 9:25am. My wife was in bathroom. They came on into the room. She told the man that check out was 10am, he said its 9:30, and went back outside room. When I arrived at room 3 of them were standing outside the room. One of them said it's 9:30! I told him, yes it is but check out is 10 and we will be out by 10. It seemed he was trying to convince me that check out was 9:30am. Someone needs to talk to this person and he should be more careful in the future

Disgusting to have a throw carpet in front of a toilet that was glued to the floor. When does it get cleaned? TV not properly attached to wall and came down.

There were a lot of locked spaces, so it was a little hard to store our suitcases and have hanging room. The location was superb, but the gate to the beach was broken much of the time we were there.

The condo, however, needs some attention. The living room and balcony furniture is badly worn and not very comfortable. An unsightly storage cabinet sits in the living room and takes up unnecessary and unuseable space.

Reviewer Comments: With much anticipation, we arrive at the Barrington Arms in the Palmetto Dunes, the ocean view presented exactly as it was in the picture, and we were delighted with the condo itself. It was spacious clean, comfortably furnished. The grounds surrounding the condo were lush with water accents, like the wildlife, which we looked for every day. We greeted the sunrise each morning and we’re never disappointed. I would describe the overall stay to be serene, almost spa like we also like the keyless entry, one less thing to worry about. OK
