Terrace on the sea: Otranto, Seafront Villa-private beach access and rocks.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa and really appreciated the kindness of the owner, Giulia. The location is fantastic, with a beautiful garden and a lovely outdoor terrace that made relaxing and dining outside a real pleasure. It also benefits from the most lovely Beach Cove at the bottom of the Garden.The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — kindly allowing us to check in much earlier than usual and also letting us check out later due to our flight times, which gave us extra time to enjoy the property. Simona, who looks after the villa, was absolutely amazing and could not have been more helpful throughout our stay.There were a few practical challenges: the washing machine broke on our first day, and one of the ensuite taps gave way, but to their credit, Simona and Giulia had both issues resolved very quickly, with replacements and plumbers arriving the next day. The responsiveness was excellent.That said, some of the indoor facilities, such as the kitchen and ensuite bathrooms, felt a little dated compared to the outdoor spaces, and air conditioning wasn’t available in all the rooms. Given the premium price point, future guests might expect slightly more modern interiors and amenities. Overall, though, we had a lovely holiday here, and the setting, warm hospitality, and care shown by both the owners and Simona made it a very enjoyable experience.

This house is in some ways extraordinary. It has maybe the most magical location and terrace ever. However, given its cost, the landlord needs to spend a little money making some basic improvements. One toilet didn't fully flush. The dishwasher barely functioned (had to run twice to get things clean), a screen in a bathroom was broken and a main bedroom didn't have any screens and since the mosquitoes were bad at night we had to run the air conditioner despite a lovely evening breeze. Screens could fix this. The barbeque had no grill so was unusable. The oven in the kitchenette only worked if the stove clicker was on. The kitchen itself is only a galley kitchen. There were no beach towels or beach umbrella, small amenities that seem appropriate for a beach house.

Our group of 3 couples had the time of our lives at this charming house by the sea. Large living spaces, beautiful outdoor setting with garden and large lawn and a view to the sea. The beach was 2 steps away in a protective cove. Very gentle to swim in. We enjoyed exploring Otranto and surrounding area but it was nice just hanging out in our beautiful villa.

We loved our stay. This is a wonderful place right by a beautiful secluded beach (which was perfect for our 5yr old son (rocky pool, shallows). The house has a great outdoor space too. The host was BRILLIANT with excellent communication throughout our stay. Thank you.

Beautiful property with stunning garden and so many scenic places to relax in the sunshine. Very close to lovely swimming spots, and close enough to walk into Otranto. We had an amazing time staying at Gulias for the week, would highly recommend!

When you want a fantastic house on a fantastic location with a huge garden 10 meters from a lovely beach you have to choose this one. We had a very warm welcome. We enjoyed it very much and when something was needed the owner was very helpful. You can walk from the premises to Otranto, a very lively beautiful town with nice bars and restaurants. We lived in the house with 8 adults.

Owners were very kind and attentive to our requests. Location is perfect for those seeking a quieter and more natural beach environment. The outdoor living space is fantastic and we spent most of our time outside. Room for guests, very family friendly and safe.

The villa is well located and very comfortable our hosts were very helpful and friendly I would definitely return to this villa we were a party of 8 people and we have some wonderful memories of this beautiful vacation.

We spent an amazing holiday in Otranto. The villa is so charmimg and has a great position, the sea is in front of the garden and Otranto historic centre is 500mt far. Super.
