Sunny 3 Bedroom Villa w/ Private Pool + WiFi + Walking distance to Amenities

The villa was perfect. Really spacious and an amazing pool and terrace. We had a couple of very minor issues at the start which were dealt with promptly. We loved it so much we are thinking of going again.

Lovely villa in a great location.Smooth check in and out.Host were really helpful and very easy to contact for a couple of very minor issues, which were resolved quickly Villa had everything we needed for our stay.The town was in easy walking distance approximately 20 minutes and uber taxi was very cheap when the heat was a little too much. Taxi was between 3-4 euros.I gave 4 stars purely because the villa does need a little tlc. The lay out is perfect and the pool size was also spot on, as a non swimmer myself, I was able to use it as it has a shallow end with a few steps which makes the access so much easier.If anything the pool also needs a little attention as my granddaughter had a few scrapes from the loose and missing tiles, although this definitely didn’t spoil her fun, she’s only 8, and said this was her favourite pool.It was more than comfortable for our 14 day stay in Lagos, restaurants were all lovely too.Especially the little Portuguese one 2 minutes down the road.Thank you for your hospitality.

Villa was perfect, near to the old town with plenty places to eat and drink and the beach goes on for miles.The villa itself was clean, well decorated and the outside had plenty space for either relaxing or soaking up the sun. The large pool was very well used by us all . We had a fantastic two weeks, couldn't find fault with anything.

We stayed mid to late August after much searching for a suitable home with full air conditioning. On the day of arrival a smooth and welcoming greeting with a small welcome food pack, the agent had an issue with 1 of the bedroom aircon units, but claimed not to know this property or any issues to do with the air conditioning! On walking into one of the bedrooms it was stifling hot and the air conditioning immediately failed to work. This was immediately reported and 2 days later the engineer appeared, who informed us that it was dirty and had not been recently serviced. He spent 6 hours day 1, but then it was still not working. Then 2 days later he returned for a further 4 hours but it was still not working. Again immediately we reported and for the following 6 days there was no engineer. During this period the other bedrooms aircon units stopped working, due to the main consumer unit constantly tripping out. From the start we informed the company that I was 70 years old with significant respiratory issues and therefore needed aircon. Other than give us 2 small portable fans no response was forthcoming. We are disappointed with how the situation was handled and the communication. We expected better service and things like the air conditioning to be fully working given the amount we paid to stay there.

An excellent Villa with super outdoor space. This is probably the best laid out Villa we have stayed in throughout our many years visiting the Algarve. The outdoor space is superb and the Pool was bigger than normal with shallow and deep ends. A 20 min walk takes you to the centre of Lagos which we walked to and from everyday. We also walked to shops (Aldi / Lidl / Pingo Doce / Intermarche) for fresh bread and supplies which were all close by. The communication from the property management was good also. I don’t want to take the shine off our stay but I think some feedback could really help make other travellers stay even better. The bath towels weren’t great. They were small and not soft. We had to pay to hire beach towels and had to use these when showering. There were little to no cleaning products left - no washing up liquid, no washing powder, watered down hand wash and only 1 toilet roll per bathroom. For the price we paid for our stay, spending around €10 for these few things would have made a huge difference. The pool was only cleaned once during our stay and the outside space was never cleaned. We had to brush up the leaves and flowers that dropped off the trees nearly every day. Not ideal as the dead leaves were gathering ants. Lastly, there was constant cockerel crowing reasonably close to the Villa which could get quite annoying after a period of time.

The villa was just perfect for our family holiday. Fantastic location, we walked to the beach and the town easily. Very close to supermarket, about 10 min walk. Villa was just as the pictures showcased. Very well maintained with a well sized, lovely clean pool. The space is much bigger than the photos, we were so happy with everything. Property agents were informative and friendly. A lovely gesture of food and drink when we arrived. Would absolutely recommend this villa for a spacious stay.

Very clean and well-maintained. The property had mostly everything we wanted in a holiday home and was close to many of the attractions that interested us. We especially enjoyed the pool and the outdoor areas, and were appreciative of the extent of kitchen items. We would have appreciated having more basic supplies. There was only one roll of toilet tissue in each bathroom, there was not enough dish soap for more than 2 days, there was no laundry detergent, and there were only two tea towels.

We had an amazing week in Casa Sol. The house is perfect to relax by the pool and fun times with dinner and board games at the pool area. 15-20 minutes walk to Lagos down town with restaurants and souvenir shops.
