Stayed Jun 29, 2019We had an excellent week exploring the Peljesac. The house was great with lots of cooking supplies. 20 minute walk into Viganj where there are some decent restaurants. We explored the entire peninsula with a few days of longer driving but some great small towns, oyster boat tour, many winery visits. The peninsula is one of the best areas in Croatia to get away from the crowds and can be done rustic to much higher end. Everyone was very nice and going to Korcula for the day is very easy. The homeowner was very responsive before and during our trip and what a view from the property. We were with 2 kids and they thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the area. Great windsurfing is the area.

Stayed Sep 29, 2018I cannot speak highly enough of either this home or of Anita's hospitality. We were greeted by Anita's son who showed us through the property, and were met with a well stocked fridge, fresh fruit, wine, drinking water and a pantry with basic cooking essentials. There was plenty of glassware, crockery, utensils and pots and pans to make the experience feel like home, and the bathrooms were stocked with 5-star service - toiletries, slippers and bathrobes. The towels were plush (with seperate towels provided for the pool area), and even the toilet paper was top quality. The house itself is beautifully renovated and stylishly furnished, with very comfortable beds for a good night's sleep. We stayed as 5 adults for 4 nights and were very comfortably accommodated both in the internal and external living areas. The photos are not only spot on, but don't do this home justice. Sitting by the pool and watching the sunset over the mountains was just magic. It would be possible to arrive by taxi from one of the ports, however a car is a bonus for this location for quick trips to the supermarket and to visit other small local towns - although there are very pretty spots along the coast that can by accessed by foot also. Absolutely magnificent property - was the highlight of our 6 week vacation. Highly recommended and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Anita for creating such a magnificent oasis.

Stayed Aug 11, 2018Fantastic views, really well appointed and very well equipped. Anita and her son were always on hand to replenish the water and coffee. The only downside were the wasps which can’t be helped. With the wasp catcher in place that was provided though they didn’t really bother us. A gem of a place!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Anita's property is the perfect location to relax and unwind. Nestled just above the village of Viganj, the unforgettable view from the spacious terrace will keep you smiling through a cold Northern winter! Anita is a fantastic host and was always available to help out in any way. The outside space is a wonderful combination of terrace, lovely pool area and gazebo hideaway with plenty of room for the whole family to enjoy. Inside, the villa has everything on your wish list and is both comfortable and stylish. Anita had the fridge well stocked on arrival which was a pleasant surprise! When you tire of the pool, you can find excellent spots for bathing a couple of minutes walk away. Swimming off the pebbly beaches or jumping off the jetties into the crystal clear Adriatic was truly memorable. Viganj is a mecca for windsurfers and there are plenty of places along the waterfront to hire equipment or to get lessons. There are a number of good hiking trails close to the villa and the views from the top are well worth the climb. The quaint town of Korcula is easily accessible by ferry and has many good places to eat - watching the sun go down from the terrace of the Maximillian Gardens was quite enchanting. We had a truly wonderful time in Anita's villa and would highly recommend this gem in Viganj as a base for a really relaxing holiday.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This villa has it all and more. Superb location, amazing views, excellent facilities and most of all 6 star hospitality from owner Anita ;-). We stayed in the villa with another couple, our 9 month old daughter and her grandmother and there was plenty of room and space for all to relax and enjoy this very special accommodation. The villa was fully equipped with everything you would need, from luxurious bathroom accessories to an ice machine for those afternoon gin and tonics, or Pimms by the beautifully designed pool and shaded terrace area. The kitchen had more accessories than my own, and that's saying something as I am a bit of a foodie.....and the fully stocked fridge and cupboards with essentials on arrival was a great and we'll received surprise after a late arrival to the villa. All in all, a wonderful villa which made our first holiday away with our young daughter an absolute delight....you will not be disappointed and I just wish we had booked for longer. :-)

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This old stone village house has been beautifully refurbished to provide all the home comforts in a holiday scenario. From an array of kitchen utensils to bath robes, slippers and shower accessories, Anita's attention to detail is second to none. A welcome pack on arrival including a fridge stocked with basic necessities, and the provision of charcoal for the barbecue were typical examples of her hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble. The villa's hillside position affords spectacular views of Korcula island and the sea from the outside terrace and pool area. Warm sea bathing is only a 5 minute walk away and the small village of Viganj is nicely situated for exploring this wine region and the lovely old town of Korcula. In short, it's a gem.
