Steps to beach! newly-renovated Island House Beach Resort V6

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been going to Island House for over 30yrs. V6 is the worst one I have stayed in. Doors do not close, bathrooms are the worst, no porch. I feel also maintenance has lost quality.

Need some treatment for cockroaches... thank you also garden sprinkler should start later at night 12AM to 6AM.

I will never rent villa 6 again. The furniture were dirty. Kitchen cabinets falling apart. Sink was clogged when we arrived the ice maker was not working. No GFI protection around the kitchen sink

Great community grills and just need to time it right to beat the dinner crowd.Villa could have used some deeper cleaning (furniture), some basic repair (icemaker),and some other small items for use (cutting board) but great place to catch some zzz's. Spend most of our time at the beach and the nearby oyster bars so don't require much for a place to stay.

Great location just steps from beach and walking distance to food and activities. Really don’t need a car. Bikes are great to have here. Several easy public modes of transportation also available. Villa has nice floor plan and is quiet. Offers gas grills, shuffleboard, beach loungers, game room and pool. Would return if in area again.

Location was awesome but the Villa was outdated and had unwanted guests, palmetto bugs (large roaches) and many smaller ones. The unit shouldn't have any roaches for the cost that's being paid. That being said I would go again with the agreement that they would spray for bugs before my next stay, not good when you go reach for a bath towel and they crawl on your hand.
