Splendid historic liberty villa

We were in Italy for a family holiday. I chose Malcesine for its proximity to hiking and biking - it was as I had hoped. I chose the villa for its location, authentic Italian charm and the view. It was as we had hoped it would be and more. The view was spectacular. Jeanne was super helpful and sweet. She made us feel very welcomed and offered great advice. It was a bit tricky finding the location initially, this is the only thing that could be improved. We would highly recommend this villa. I could have stayed all summer!

The property is charmingly unique. Although undoubtedly old, the rooms and furnishings are full of character and amazingly spacious. The balcony view over Lake Garda is fabulous and everchanging. All seven of us could stay there all day. The town is well situated for day trips around the lake and to the Dolomites. And Jeanne was gracious, available, full of information and very personable. It was a one-of-a-kind experience which we really enjoyed even more than the subsequent Italy/Greece cruise.

This spacious villa was perfect for our extended family group of 8. The antique furnishings were as pictured, and comfortable. Our liaison, Jeanne, was a sweetheart and so helpful during our stay. The villa is on the main road and within walking distance to the town and lake. The pizzeria two doors down was very convenient! The road noise could be loud at times in the main bedrooms, but that’s because we had our balcony doors and windows open at night. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we miss the view of beautiful Lake Garda.

The villa is absolutely stunning, and the views are incredible. Anny, the housekeeper, is lovely and is easy to contact if you have any issues. We stayed here for our daughter's wedding at the castle and the pictures taken on the day in the villa look fantastic. The villa was in perfect walking distance to the town centre and lakefront amenities.

Amazing villa, so authentically Italian, we didn't want to leave. Fabulous location, short walk along road past pizza restaurant to road crossing and down steps to Lake, swam in the warm clean water every day. Well equipt with everything you could need, even a pile of swimming towels for the beach. Stunning views, and only a 5 minute walk into the town centre. Thank you so much Laura & Annie.

My mom, my sister and me spent a great week here. The overwhelming view, all the splendid rooms, the piano a.s.o. We had to force us to leave the Villa to visit some interessting things around.

We had the most wonderful stay at this Splendid Villa. We stayed for 8 nights as a family of 8. We arrived on the Wednesday and got married in the castle on the Saturday. The Villa more than complemented our wedding, we could not of asked for a more stately residence!! From the initial booking to the prompt return of the damage deposit on our arrival home everything was seamless. Laura and the wonderful Anny who is always available to attend to all your needs on arrival and throughout your stay, make this Villa the perfect choice for any future brides or family vacation.
