Spectacularly located luxury villa near Marbella - perfect for families

We stayed 9-23rd August in this amazing house. The owner was so good to us and the handover agent Sharon was amazing as there is a lot to this wonderful home. The area it is in is stunning. You do need a car as it is a distance from amenities, however, Taxi and Uber services are plentiful. The house is very comfortable and there were things like washing powder, dishwasher tablets, condiments and so much more there. You were asked to replace anything that ran out but great to have this. The pool is clean, well maintained, stunning and at that time of the year the perfect temperature. Simply our best rental yet.

From start to finish, communication with the property owner and manager was excellent - all queries were answered promptly which was very reassuring. The villa is in a great and safe location and very clean with cleaning carried out during our stay (which was greatly appreciated). A pleasant surprise was finding food basics and wine upon our arrival which was very welcome. There was plenty of fridge space and the kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable and overall we had a lovely and very memorable stay.

Should have been beautiful but now looking a bit sad . Broken and damaged equipment and furnishings require replacing . With a little TLC would be fabulous again . Beautiful secluded area close to amenities .

This property was perfect for our recent family holiday - 7 adults and 3 children. The villa is huge with plenty of room to relax inside and outside and allow everyone to have a little space if they needed it. The house was in great condition, very well looked after and fully stocked with everything you'd need. The kitchen has everything you need to cater for a big group, which is ideal if you're eating in. Having 2 fridges in the kitchen really helps with a large group too. The lounge area was lovely, very relaxing and room for the whole family to sit down. Having the UK satellite channels was a godsend for the children too! Bedrooms all had ensuites and we were offered flexible set up of the beds with twins vs doubles in all rooms. The outside space was perfect - plenty of shade during the hottest part of the day in the patio area and under the huge parasol - and plenty of space to run around and play games outside too. In the pool storage room we found a great variety of toys and games - loads of ping pong balls and bats too, for the table. Pool was great and a good size for our group. As others have said, the drive is pretty steep and you do have to be careful with the timings of driving up/down and the gate automatically closing. We had 2 cars and there is just enough room to drive down and manoeuver around, to avoid reversing down if needed. The views are absolutely incredible from the house, and there's a little seating platform just down from the pool area which was a lovely surprise to find. The house is about a 15-minute drive to the main road through the mountains, but fairly easy to navigate once you've done it once. We visited Benahavis (20-minute drive) for dinner a couple of times and there are plenty of restaurants there (although not all are open on a Sunday). Communication with the owner was excellent and prompt from the point of booking, through to the trip. The information he provided about the house and the local area was very thorough and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay at this house and wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

It's in a beautiful situation, luxuriously appointed, but close enough to the excitement of Marbella or the tranquility of the white villages to suit all tatses. It was beautifully warm during our visit in October, so much so that the pool was in constant use. Kitchen big enough to cater for the 10 the villa sleeps, but plenty of resaurant choice within a short drive. Close enough to Malaga airport to be there for lunch without getting the first morning plane out of the UK!

The villa is superbly run by the owner, with very meticulous instructions and helpful advice on local amenities, restaurants etc. It has glorious views over open country and offers well laid out, generously proportioned accommodation. If you are a golf enthusiast you will be in your element!

Our group of 9 enjoyed a family reunion at the villa. We all had a great time... the kids spent hours in the pool which was comfortably warm. The adults enjoyed lounging under the sun umbrellas or on the covered patio. And the inside was spacious and well equipped. The location was nicely central to many activities - 15 minutes to restaurants and canyoning in Benahavis; 20 minutes to the beach and village of Estapona; and 60 to 90 minutes for excursions to Ronda, Caminito del Ray, Tarifa and Bolonia Beach. Reg, the villa owner was always responsive and provided lots of useful local and villa information. We’d highly recommend a stay here for a trip to Andalusia.

We were looking for a Villa that was spacious, could accommodate 10 people, was private and with good access to Marbella. This met our requirements perfectly. The property manager, Sandra, was always available when needed and actioned any requests promptly and efficiently. WiFi was excellent. The village of Benahavis is just a short drive away with an excellent selection of restaurants and we'd recommend you book during high season. The pools area is tranquil and a great place to relax and the villa is the perfect place to dine and with the views (created as a consequence of the picturesque steep and winding drive through the hills and community) as good as any you'll find at any restaurant, so staying in is just like going out but with benefits. The driveway has electric gates and is steep. We found that if you have 3 or more cars you are better to reverse down the driveway. It's no hassle and it makes leaving far easier. We couldn't fault the place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a private getaway with friends and family.

We spent a few days in this glorious villa on a mountain side with views to die for. The villa is a lovely open plan space, which feels cool and airy in the Spanish sun. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of fridge space to keep everything cool, and the bedrooms are large and lovely with soft bamboo flooring under foot. The highlight of the villa for the children was the pool, which afforded hours of entertainment, while we soaked in the sun. We found the villa to be very kiddy-friendly, for our two aged 6 and 8. And there was no shortage of walks, Roman ruins and beautiful Spanish villages to visit. The owner could not have been more charming or considerate about our stay. All in all, I thoroughly recommend this holiday spot.
