South facing Lakeside Retreat at Cumbrian Lakes

We had a great stay in this house! It was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked. The pool looked very nice and well-maintained. But it was winter, and unusually cold the week of our stay, so no swimming for us! There are game tables in the garage, which is a nice touch. This house is a 10-20 min drive to the parks. It is in a quiet neighborhood. We felt very safe and comfortable taking a walk in the neighborhood in the evening. Jemma is an excellent host. We had a small snafu with the door code at the beginning of our stay, but it was handled very quickly. We would absolutely stay here again!

Loved staying here and would highly recommended. House was very clean and well equipped apart from lack of tea towels (only 1). Beds were comfy and the kids loved the snuggle seat in the living room. Outside area was also fab but some cleaning needed for the seat cushions. The views and the villa being south facing made sitting out a dream, and a few times we saw the gators sunbathing on the bank. A big issue for a larger group is the hot water. Not sure if the system is old but you only get a certain amount of hot water and after 2-3 showers everybody else is getting a cold one. Communication has been really good with quick replies.

Jemma was a great host who kept in touch throughout our stay. The property is ideal and has a great south facing aspect that we wanted.

The home was great. Perfect layout for the 3 generations of our family visiting. Check in and checkout was easy, the pool was perfect with the heating. We would highly recommend this home.

it was a beautiful home and we enjoyed our stay. she did have the ac locked on 75 which we must have missed when reading the information online before booking. but once we messaged her about it she unlocked it so we could turn it down to sleep. also i was really excited to find a home that had a air hockey table. but it was broken. other than that we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Really nice place and perfect for families!

This home is wonderful! Beautifully decorated, fully equipped, absolutely clean inside and out with a location that is great because it’s not in a high traffic area but is very close to all the stores and restaurants you could want. I highly recommend this for any type of group- families especially.

Difficult to get in . Not enough hot water .plumbing fixtures for bathtub almost totally seized-up . Dirt along baseboard , pool and hot tub not heated to stated temperature, no working lights in patio area. Only one working pool cue . Poor communication Nice house , good location

Although the communication with our host was very good, there are a number of deficiencies that should be noted. : The beds were very uncomfortable and comforters needed cleaning : the furniture was worn and uncomfortable and the cloth chairs were all quite stained : the blind slats kept falling down in living room : there was some sort of a leak from air conditioning/heating system which caused a large wet spot in front hallway The dryer broke down the morning we were leaving so unfortunately we had to leave a load of freshly washed sheets in the washer - sorry The location of the house to theme parks and shopping was great. The children enjoyed the pool which was nice and clean as was the garage area with an air hockey table.

House was clean and well maintained. Kitchen was adequately supplied with dishes and cooking hardware. Pool was very nice. We spent 5 days at Disney Parks and house is located 15-20 minutes from them. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Disney.

We had an amazing 14-day stay at a villa in Cumbrian Lakes. The area is secure, quiet, and perfect for a peaceful retreat. The villa itself was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. The pool area was a highlight, overlooking the lake where we enjoyed spotting wildlife. Our host was incredibly attentive and responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely return and highly recommend this villa to our friends and family.
