Sophisticated Villa in an Exclusive Resort, just steps to a private resort beach

After leaving, I informed the owner of my disappointment at the lack of information that would've changed my mind about staying here. Yes I felt cheated/scammed by the withholding of this information. Once I was there, I was pretty stuck with my group of 5. The info states Massive wrought iron gated entry doors. There were also multiple in the back. However, the wrought iron was present but there were NO DOORS between the gate and the inside of the house. It was wide open. Stray cats, lizards, moths, mosquitos, etc... all were inside. She questioned why I didn't mention this when I arrived. Well, I've been to the DR 17 times and the thought of no doors being rectified quickly was doubtful. So, we placed a security camera in the main entry way that would alert our cellphone. My husband is seriously allergic to cats so having to constantly chase them out of the house was also an issue. 4 different ones. The owner said they belonged to a neighbor. Well it didn't help that there was cat food bowls left for them in the Villa. Finally it's Nov so showering in cold water was also an issue. For the 5 of us, it was hit and miss. I would have to run the water for a long time in hopes of it warming up. While this is very wasteful, it only worked some times.The Villa looks very nice but there is NO WAY I would've stayed here knowing there were no SOLID LOCKING DOORS and CATS w food and what appears to be 2 stacked pillows for them that we saw one lounging on.

We had a fantastic stay at Sea Horse Ranch. The villa was spacious, well-maintained, and set in a peaceful open-air home, secure community surrounded by lush tropical landscaping. It felt like a private oasis, perfect for a family getaway.One of the highlights was the housekeeper, who was wonderful — she made us a delicious breakfast each morning for a small additional fee, and kept the home spotless and did our laundry throughout our stay. That touch of hospitality made the experience feel even more relaxing.The private pool was perfect for lounging, and the community’s pool area was very cool. While the beach within the community isn’t very large, We’d definitely recommend renting a car, as it made getting to Cabarete and nearby restaurants and beaches much easier. Also if you do cab it I recommend calling the main office of the property as they will provide you with a can that’s only 16 each way to Cabarete. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, upscale retreat in the Dominican Republic.

We enjoyed a wonderful vacation amid beautiful surroundings!Bathrooms could be improved by shower safety bars and soap holders.We were surprised there were no locks on the main doors and no safe for documents.Lili was wonderful and extremely helpful.

The amenities in the area were great and we enjoyed many activities. The rental’s cleanliness was not up to standard for such a home, the pool not serviced and unusable until the fourth day of our stay, and there were no check in instructions.

Property is gorgeous in a beautiful setting. Kids and adults enjoyed. The restaurant on property site is great and food was great. House personnel very nice and attentive. The only major issue was some “critters” found in the house multiple times throughout our stay and a very smelly rug in the main bedroom. Definitely needs to be tossed out. Otherwise a very comfortable accommodation for our entire group.

This house is simply beautiful, spacious and very elegant. We had a great time in the private pool in the backyard, as well as the beautiful pools within the development. The restaurant is steps away and serves delicious food that we enjoyed overlooking the ocean. The owner/manager provided excellent instructions and was always available. The staff was also fantastic. 5 starts across the board. I hope to return soon!

Beautiful exclusive area in Sea horse, home is very well kept and truly feel right at home when you walk in. Very close to the community pool and beach bar. Staff is wonderful!

Our family group has made memories to last a lifetime in this beautiful vacation property. The home is laid out well so we didn't feel crowded with a group of 12. Lili the maid took care of our every need! The chef cooked amazing Dominican meals for us. Claudia was a wonderful host, so quick to communicate and took the time to answer all of my questions. We very much enjoyed Sea Horse Ranch, the local area and the property.

This was my second stay at this amazing villa, but it won’t be my last. The property is exquisite- every room is beautiful; the pool is gorgeous, and no detail is missed. The staff is like family. Lily takes the best care of you, and say yes to the chef at least once while you’re there. It’s such a treat to be served in the stunning dining room. This location is unique in that you get the privacy of a villa while still having immediate access to a wonderful restaurant, horseback riding, and other amenities within the ranch. Honestly - spoil yourself. Go.

The villa is gorgeous, the location is perfect, the resort is beautiful and very safe. Claudia is a pleasure to deal with! Cannot wait to go back…
