Stayed Oct 2, 2021Property is lovely, simple and bright, very clean, yes maybe if you was fussy you'd want a plush kitchen and bathrooms, but for us not much time in kitchen and bathroom for essentials..its SUPERB views and quiet windy location was perfect. The odd dog and plane going over wouldnt put us off and to have the swimming pool and rather big one all to ourselves was icing on cake...so peaceful just us two by pool..will return for sure 100%

Stayed Mar 11, 2018The house was clean and comfortable but in need of some TLC especially in the bathrooms. There was no information folder or similar which is usual and helps with the basics such as location of places as well as emergency needs. There was only 2 of us and there were not enough mugs! It will help if you can cope with barking dogs and noisy planes!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We have made holidays in the January/February 2017 in this villa. The Villa is clean and tidy. We rent holiday house for nine years, but we still didn't have such a great service. The day which travel on a handover of the Villa was made, super by landlady Pauline. The object is for tourists which rest and relaxation find exactly the right thing. If it is the stress of looking for tourists to reach in El Medano in 5 minutes by car. Pauline, we say a hearty thank you we could make such a nice holiday. This villa is to 100% continue to recommend. All voted, Inge & Peter

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Lovely comfortable house. Clean and well-equipped. The owner was welcoming and helpful. The views from the master bedroom balcony are stunning. This property is a little bit out of town. The walk to the main centre takes about 20 minutes. There's also a supermarket nearby at the Arenas hotel complex. El Medano is a lovely town with plenty of restaurants and bars. It has a relaxed laid-back vibe. Just a word of warning, this area is windy -which is why it's a centre for windsurfing - you'll need warm clothes for the evening!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Having recently returned from a wonderful break in Tenerife, I would like to thank Mrs Martinez for making our stay so pleasant and comfortable in her house in EL Medano The property was impeccably clean, freshly painted throughout, with comfortable beds. It was so nice to awaken to the sound of the waves gently breaking on the beach just opposite the house. We greatly appreciated having a full bathroom in each bedroom, with the added bonus of a toilet downstairs. Everything was in perfect working order, a good WIFI connection, well equipped kitchen (my wife was happy to find a dish-washer..), washing machine was handy. In the evening we dined on the terrace, often using the barbecue. The kids LOVED Siam Park and the Karting All in all a brilliant family trip, we shall repeat.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We, a (German) couple and two children (11 & 16 years) had a great time at Pauline's house Las Dunas. The house is spacious, there are two lovely bedrooms, each with an own bathroom, and an extra toilet halfway upstairs from the living-room/kitchen and terrasse level. We surely appreciated the barbecue in the garden and used it for our New Years Eve dinner. But we enjoyed the view of the pool only though, it didn't seem to be heated and wasn't inviting to dive into the cold water. Also, the place is well equipped and Pauline has been very friendly and helpful with information and advice. I had been to Medano before, so the planes starting from the nearby airport that cross the house in the air were no surprise - and it happens not as often and loudly as one might think. This disadvantage on one side is compensated by the village of El Médano on the other. There are very nice places to eat out and the whole place is by far not as touristy and commercial as Los Cristianos or Playa de los Americas. There are only two reasons why I can't give the house five stars: 1. There was a permanent light smell of sewer coming up from the basement; 2. - A very individual and personal reason: I didn't like the neighbourhood too much - so many quickly built houses, looking all the same and many of them obviously not inhabited - a bit like a ghost town and quite far away from the village center; no possibilities to buy bread or anything else in the morning in walking distance, a pity. But in the house there's enough space to store food - as the fridge in the kitchen is a bit small, there's a second, big one, in the basement. A big advantage is also the dishwasher and the washing machine. There's also a hairdryer and (almost) anything one might need... We definitively enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed in this property for 14 nights. It was perfect for our needs, A clean and spacious property with lovely sea views from the balcony and patio. The bedrooms were good size and each room had an en-suite. It is situated slightly outside of El Medano but this was fine as it was good to walk to and from the town in the evening to have our meal and drinks. Definintely worth a stay and the manager was very helpful and welcoming. Lovely holiday!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed with 5 persons (2 adults and 3 kids 16,15 and 5) in August 2010 in Las Dunas 2. The house is very nice and clean. Especially good is that each bedroom has its own bathroom. During our stay we had haevy winds so that with our smallest kid we could not often go to the beach, which was very individuel and a little separated. But the pool in Las Dunas was compensating all. During our stay we had a rental car which is recommendable. We did lovely trips to many places and especially to Teide. But also the Loro Park and the Siam park should be visited with kids, although these parks are litte expensive. The kitchen is fully equipped and modern. However we went often out for dinner to Medano, Golf del Sur and Los Americas were we found very nice restaurants with reasonable prices (little bit cheaper then in Germany were we are from). Finally we want to thank for Pauline for her nice and personal service. As summery we can really recommend Las Dunas for a great family holiday.
