Our townhouse is located in The Greens in Shipyard, which is a private, gated community in a tranquil setting with Carolina pines, moss draped oaks and tropical palms. Within Shipyard there are three beautiful 9 hole golf courses for all to enjoy. There are miles and miles of lighted, paved paths for bike riding or walking, as well as lagoons for wildlife viewing. Shipyard also has an oceanfront clubhouse with private beach access, new restrooms, and an outdoor shower to rinse off.

The townhouse is located just steps away from The Greens private communal pool, and is half a block away from the The Sonesta Resort and the Van Der Meer Tennis Center. Best of all, our townhouse is a 8 minute walk to the beach! We also include a beach parking pass, in case you prefer to drive to the beach.

Our renovated townhouse is a private corner unit with many windows and three patio doors, providing lots of natural light and beautiful views of the 7th hole of the Galleon golf course. The large wraparound deck is the perfect spot to totally relax and immerse yourself in the peaceful, tropical environment, and is furnished with a large L-shaped outdoor couch and 2 Adirondack chairs.

The townhouse has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with TWO PRIMARY SUITES - one on the MAIN FLOOR and one on the SECOND FLOOR, for extra convenience and comfort. It has a spacious, open floor plan with new wood-vinyl flooring and freshly painted rooms throughout. An open, modern kitchen with granite countertops is fully equipped with multiple blenders, a crock pot, microwave, toaster, tea kettle, coffee maker, hand mixer and more for easy cooking and entertaining.. There is a kitchenette and laundry room with a full size washer and dryer.

In the living room you will find a couch equipped with a queen sleeper sofa bed, a love seat, 2 club chairs and a large console with mounted flat screen Smart TV. A large dining room table with an extra leaf and stools at the kitchen bar can accommodate any crowd. A booster chair with tray is also handy for guests with young children.

The first floor primary bedroom suite features a king size bed, all new furnishings, flat screen TV and a luxurious new bathroom with walk in shower. A sliding glass door leads to the private deck with gorgeous views of the golf course.

The second floor primary suite also has a king size bed, a mounted flat screen TV, a full bath with tub/shower combination and large walk-in-closet.

On the opposite end down the hall is the third bedroom with a queen size bed and two large double closets. There is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination next to it.

There are two parking spots directly in front of the townhouse. Your reservation includes two parking passes and one beach parking pass.

Whether you golf, play tennis, enjoy the beach, ride bikes or simply relax on the deck, this townhouse will make you feel comfortable and at home during your stay.

    Another year, another spectacular visit. Carrie is a wonderful host. The villa has the benefit of a great location with its easy walk to the beach, as well as the overall location of Shipyard on the South Island. It is so close restaurants, grocery stores, and some decent breweries. An absolutely fantastic vacation every time we visit. See you next year!!!

    Lovely property with great amenities. Love that the condo has lots of light, as it is a corner unit. The beach is about a 10’ walk, is very clean with hard packed sand so easy for biking and walking. Groceries, shops, and restaurants are very close by making trips in the car quick and easy. All in all a perfect vacation spot!

    Our stay here was a series of unfortunate events. Arriving at front gate, there was no record of our name. Took 45 minutes to reach owner, who finally confirmed with security. She rebated us 100 for inconvenience. At property, we alerted owner immediately to minor damages: broken toilet paper roll hanger, laminate peeling away from dining table, closet doors that were off track. Next day we found a heavy sliding glass door off track we couldn’t close. Owner arranged repairman for following evening. Before he could arrive, we woke at 3am to smoke detectors beeping throughout house. After my husband disconnected each,we awoke to find AC had stopped working entirely. We explained all concerns to repairman who was to return following day to complete AC repair. After another sleepless night without AC, owner offered full refund if we wanted to vacate property. But where to go now that it’s midweek? Amid these issues, we got a parking ticket from security because the pass provided at gate was incomplete. Took 5 trips between gate & main office to remedy. Fortunately, AC was fixed and we stayed. Given the events after we finally entered the gate, the cost of our rental exceeded the enjoyment. Perhaps a further credit would have been warranted under the circumstances.

    Great location in quiet tree shaded area very close to the beach. Well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. Had a few questions which were very promptly addressed. Highly recommended!

    Shipyard is such a great community and the location of the property is outstanding. It truly is an 8-minute walk to the beach. Proximity to numerous restaurants, as well as a Publix or Fresh Market within easy driving distance. If you like craft beer, try Side Hustle Brewing just outside the Cordillo Parkway entrance gate. You won't be disappointed. We have enjoyed our stay so much this year we decided to stay another week since the dates were available.

    Carrie’s property was beautiful and we had the most amazing vacation! Loved the location of the property, so close to beach and pool. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck watching the golfers tee off in the morning. Overall, a wonderful place to stay to have a family vacation with our grown children!!

    We had such a relaxing two week stay. The condo was perfect for our needs. Loved sitting out on the deck, so quiet and peaceful. Not too far from the beach. The owner was quick to get back to me when I had a problem and I hope to return in a year or two.
