Serene Villa - Perfect family retreat near Nazaré

We were disappointed with the musky smell in the house as well as the powerful cleaning products that were used. For those of us who have sensitives it was a challenge. Opening the windows helped but any time they were closed it was uncomfortable. We also found the kitchen was not well equipped. It lacked good knives for food prep, serving bowls and platters and a laundry basket. The host said we had all we needed but I disagree. The location was good. Short drive to anywhere you wanted to go. Highly recommend renting a vehicle if staying at this location.

Unfortunately, a house without a concept. Many things were missing, defective, or even unacceptable. The house had an unpleasantly musty smell and was partly dirty and damp. Mold spores were found on the walls, beds, and curtains. No guest towels, no doormats in the entrance area, and in the bathrooms. All bathrooms, rooms, and hallways lacked hooks, shelves, cabinets, or hanging facilities. The few cabinets that were present were moldy. There were no fly screens for any of the windows. There was no additional storage space in the kitchen. Outside, there was a moldy and dirty awning that was better left unextended. A desolate, large courtyard with a barbecue area without any seating. Disgusting old pots and pans. A broken stove that was unusable. No broom, no dustpan, nothing for cleaning. Only upon request were the necessary utensils provided. They were simply placed in the room without a cabinet.The refrigerator was turned off upon arrival. The refrigerator contains mold spores. Broken toilet seats and shower heads that wouldn't hang up. A shower stall wouldn't close, causing flooding. Folding doors that robbed you of sleep. Everything you don't want in a vacation apartment. The house is remote and requires a car. Relatively quiet area. The nearest grocery store is a 5-minute drive away. A few dogs barked at night. A message to the landlord about the problems only received sporadic responses. After a week, a few defects were corrected. Conclusion: The entire house is not
