Reunion Villa | 5BR Modern Home w/ Private Pool, Game Room, and Themed Kids' Room Near Disney

Reunion resort is the perfect location for an Orlando vacation with family . This house was gorgeous on the inside; however, needs some updating/attention to detail. The outdoor pool furniture is falling apart and the pool deck extremely dirty when we arrived. The back half of the pool deck is regular tile and extremely slippery. We had to call about murky pool water; we found out there wasn’t any chlorine in the pool. There is a PlayStation set up in game room, but no games and no way to charge controllers. This place has a lot of potential, but needs a deep clean, new patio furniture, updated game room, and someone needs to go through the house to replace broken hairdryers, fix broken grill, etc. The decor on the inside is beautiful and the house is in the perfect location. The management was very responsive to concerns; they brought a coffee pot over within 15 minutes when we called to let them know the coffee pot was missing. When we pay a premium for a vacation property we expect the property to be in pristine condition. With some TLC this could be an outstanding property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay

The location is great, stayed at Reunion 4 times prior and love the area! Close to Disney and stores. House needs some updating and was not the cleanest. Furniture in living room was uncomfortable and slipped apart every time you tried to sit on it. In the master suite upstairs, the bed is only about 6 inches off the floor with a wooden frame around it which makes it very difficult to get in and out of. In the pictures on line it is hard to tell how low it is but for someone like me with back issues it was a problem so just wanted to let people know. In fact because of the style of furnishings in the house all of the beds are very low to the ground - just FYI. Also, game room is very small and congested, not much room to play or sit. We did have some other issues with a few things when we first checked in but the management company took care of those as soon as we called so they were great to work with.

Property was gorgeous from the pictures online & when arriving we really got to see the lack of upkeep on this beautiful house. Let me first start by saying this is the 3rd time we’ve booked with Vrbo & stayed in Reunion however I will NEVER book another house that is ran by “Magical Vacation Homes.” As soon as we arrived we started noticing things - broken patio furniture, lightbulbs out, tv in my sons room did not work, hair in the shower, mold in the jacuzzi tub (mold on the actual jets, as we bought bleach to clean the house & ran a whole cycle while disgusting junk continued to come out), kitchen utensils not clean, master bedroom headboard & chair torn pieces/falling apart, chair downstairs ready to fall when sat in, cob webs in the front bedroom, bathroom mats absolutely disgusting & when you flipped them over stained & urine smell (downstairs bathroom). I have pictures of everything. Contacted the Magical Vacation Homes Team 3-4 times and they did send someone to fix the chair downstairs and they couldn’t fix the tv but downloaded apps for my son to watch at least. Spoke with a manager who said they were having issues with their cleaning services & it was a 3rd party so they said they would refund our “cleaning fee.” I agreed with that & then of course something else. When I arrived home I called to speak to someone again to explain to them how unhappy we are & his response was - “you got the cleaning fee back.” Overall it’s about the experience & being there for our family vacation... our experience at this property was NOT what it was supposed to be.
