Reunion Haven | 5BR, 3.5 Bath Villa w/ Private Pool and Game Room Near Orlando Theme Parks

It’s was a very nice place just wish it had more information about the reunion property and what they offer. Maybe a map of the surrounding area would be nice and more information on the shuttle service.

We had a really great experience at this house. It was a good fit for our family (with 2 kids). All the TV’s were awesome. The couches in the living room were really cozy. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed everyday. When we first arrived, we were unsure why the hot tub water was the same temperature as the pool but quickly realized that we just had to set the timer on the hot tub and it warmed up very quickly (like 10 minutes!). I’m very glad we payed for the pool heat because my kids get cold easily. The main level bedroom was great because it had access to the pool and we appreciated the giant bathroom with the walk in shower. My kids loved the huge corner bathtub too. There were some small little things that could use attention, like a wobbly upstairs bannister and some small carpet stains in the bedrooms near the closet but these were definitely not a big deal at all. The kitchen was really well equipped and the fridge has a working ice machine and filtered water that we made lots of use of. The Publix grocery store and various other fast food/restaurants were really close (just outside of Reunion). Having a car rented also made our trip easier. We had access to the Reunion Waterpark and had a fun time there twice. One downside was that the neighbours didn’t seem to want any noise and complained about our kids playing in the pool. They definitely were not being too loud so we were frustrated by them complaining, we were on vacation after all!

We have stayed in Reunion before and love the area. We were pretty disappointed with this particular house. 1) The carpet is old and very stained. It looked gross. Magical Vacation Homes (MVH) offered to have it cleaned but we had already unpacked and thought this was something that should have been done previous to our arrival. 2). The kitchen cabinets and drawers stuck very badly and were hard to open. We stayed a month so this was very irritating. 3). The description on VRBO and MVH stated we had access to the garage since that’s where the pool table was. However, the code on the lock was not changed until we had been there two weeks. We asked several times to gain access. The description also says we would get starter supplies but we actually got very little. No soap (dish, hand, dishwasher, detergent,) and 1 trash bag, and part of a roll of paper towels. 4) No dish cloths or towels. MVH did bring us a couple. The ice maker did not work. MVH fixed it once but it broke again. The dishwasher dispenser did not open when the cycle started. We found out the hard way. One of the silverware baskets had a huge hole and was not usable. 5) The master bed was very loud any time you sat on it or rolled over. On a good note, we loved the amenities. The master bath was very nice and the towels were soft. We liked the layout of the house also. My suggestion would be for the management company to check out the rentals thoroughly before renting.

The property was large and bright with excellent amenities and in a very quiet neighborhood. The pool was second to none with an excellent sitting area. The complete community was enjoyable with some resort style features, walking areas and we felt totally safe at all times. I definitely recommend this property.

Nothing but great things to say about the home. Smells fresh, plenty of room for everyone. Just a few small things missing that would make life easier. A plunger in the bathrooms. Never know you need it until it's not there. The pool table had a really hard lean to the left, I fixed it with some cardboard. Also, there was a gaping hole in one of the pockets for the balls, fixed that too with a little bit of double sided tape. Maybe some pool toys? I left a float there so the next person could enjoy. Some of the drawers and cabinets are sticky, but not enough to ruin the house, just an observation. Oh and the garage door is a little weird closing. Never closed on the first try. It goes down then right back up. You physically have to hold the garage door opener to get it to close all the way. Overall 4.5 out of 5.0. Definitely recommend.
