Stayed Jul 18, 2025The house was ok. When we arrived (4:00 pm), the house was hot and the temp outside was 100 heat index. We turned the air down, left for a few hours and came back to an even hotter house. The contact I had was useless (home owner). I got a hold of the property manager customer service and they got a hold of the other property owner who quickly answered. By 10:30 pm, the AC was finally fixed. The house naturally runs hotter than it feels due to the lack of air flow. (no fans in the south is crazy, but that's a preference I guess)The game room was completely useless for the week due to the heat. There is nothing in there. Its just a heat box with a pool table. That was a big selling point for me because me and my son enjoy playing pool and this was his last vacation before starting college (it was also his birthday) So if that is something you plan on using, don't go during the summer. The house itself was ok. The kitchen lack some of the things I would think are pretty basic stuff. I don't expect a fully furnished gourmet kitchen but rent a house over a hotel because I like feeling like we are at home and I love to cook. I literally had nothing to cook in the oven with. I was cooking homemade biscuits one morning and just assumed that there would, at minimum, be a pan or something, I guess I was supposed to travel with my own cook wear. I bought some stuff from the local Publix but i was surprised. This is the 1st property I've ever rented that had so little.

Stayed Feb 6, 2025Our stay at this home was a mix of positives and serious concerns. The house itself was nice—spacious with plenty of rooms and beds, great amenities, and a well-stocked kitchen with cooking utensils, pots, and dishware. We especially appreciated the extra bedding and pillows provided. However, there were several major issues that made our stay stressful. Upon arrival, we noticed one of the dining chairs was broken and left upside down against the wall. The drive leading to the neighborhood was concerning, as it took us through an area that appeared run-down and neglected, making us feel uneasy. That said, once we arrived, the neighborhood itself was a pleasant surprise—like an oasis tucked away from a less inviting surrounding area. The front of the neighborhood was beautifully maintained, with lovely greenery and plenty of shade from mature trees. Unfortunately, the house we stayed in was located toward the back, where there were no trees or shade, making it feel less welcoming. The biggest issue was the backyard. It backed up to a large pond, where we saw at least two alligators—one of which my husband jokingly named Eddie the Alligator. But the reality was no joke. One day, we saw a neighbor’s kids playing near the pond and throwing rocks into the water. We happened to be outside when we saw an alligator swiftly approach, its head barely breaking the surface. I had to scream to warn the kids, as one was dangerously close to the edge. The alligator even came out of the water and lingered, as if waiting for them to return. It was a terrifying moment, and I shudder to think what could have happened if we weren’t there.Adding to our concerns, the front door did not feel secure—the handle was flimsy and easy to open. This was a major issue for us because our 5-year-old autistic son has a tendency to elope. Despite our precautions, one morning he easily opened the door and got outside—something he had never been able to do before. That moment alone made us feel unsafe. The exterior maintenance was also lacking. Trash was piling up outside as if it hadn't been collected in weeks. When my husband went to empty the trash, a snake jumped out at him—just another reason I refused to take a walk or let the kids play outside.Ultimately, while the inside of the home was comfortable, the outdoor environment made me feel on edge the entire time. I truly wish there had been a warning about the alligators in the backyard.

Stayed Mar 6, 2025The property manager had to send me our door code to check in. The property security said the host could provide a QR code to make gate check ins faster. Host never responded to any messages. Thankfully Evolve eventually responded with the door code. Property was lovely but SERIOUSLY under prepared for 13 guests. You would think with a 6 bd/5.5 bath there would be more than 10 towels. Not enough towels. Not enough toilet paper/paper towels/linens for 13 guests!!! No dish towels, only one hot mit. Not stocked well enough for the number of guests they advertise for!!

Stayed Dec 21, 2024I stayed in this home with my two sister and our children for an entire week. There was plenty of space for the children to play. They loved the pool and hot tub, even in December. The main grab for us was everyone had their own rooms with bathrooms. We did have trouble getting into the home which was our fault, but the owner reached out and made sure everything was good and in place. I would definitely stay again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The house was amazing. I traveled with my family of 9 (including 4 teenagers) and there was more than enough space. It was so quiet and peaceful that I was able to fully relax (on the 1 day we didn't have alot to do) and wind down after a very long school year. The host Paul was extremely accommodating. He even came himself to bring us extra towels. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Mar 28, 2024The overall stay was excellent. The communication at the gate house upon arrival was a little off but we made it through. The trash pick up was unavailable, probably because of the Easter holiday so it made it hard to put trash out. The trash bins were already completely packed upon our arrival. Would I stay again or recommend, absolutely!
