Stayed May 25, 2018lovely home and nice area. convenient grocery store, butcher for fresh meat and two restaurants. Patio was lovely and having the washer was great!! Host and her helper were both very sweet and helpful with everything. There is an extra charge for A/C so ask them to bring the remote if that is something you want. Otherwise someone has to run the 100+ stairs to get it :)

Stayed Sep 30, 2024We had the most wonderful stay here. Cinze and Gregorio were amazing hosts, so kind and helpful. The home is absolutely perfect and the view is breathtaking. I was so sad to leave. There are a lot of steps but it’s worth it for the view and great people in this great little town. Pack light and go visit this great place. I’m counting the days til I can get back. We truly felt like family. Thank you Cinze and Gregorio.

Stayed May 31, 2024Cinzia and Gregorio were amazing hosts and the location was perfect. There were quite a few steps, but hard to avoid if you are staying on the Amalfi coast. Conca dei Marini was the perfect base to see all of the area. It was a quaint little town where we got know all of local business owners and they treated us like family. It was also easy to get to all of the coastal towns once you became familiar with the Sita bus. Or take the bus to Amalfi and catch the ferry to other towns or Capri or Ischia. We will absolutely be back.

Stayed Jul 23, 2023The Appartement is very nice and suitable for a family with two bathrooms. The terrace offering views on the sea is magnificent and big enough to spend your day there. The village is very nice less busy than Amalfi and Positano thus also more relaxing. And if you need the vibe in the evening both cities are a short car drive away. The closest beach is in walking distance - just 1000 stair steps down the hill. Communication with Olivia was kind and effective.

Stayed May 19, 2023Such a beautiful place with the blues and yellows…..very soothing colors. We spent a lot of time under the pergola. The beds were very comfortable. A very special place. The local grocery is down the steps. Restaurants as well. Very friendly people. So happy to have discovered Conca dei Marini. In a perfect spot to see everything.

Stayed Oct 9, 2018Lots of steps. We knew that coming in. But to catch the main bus it is a 15-20 min hike down. And longer going up. We got our exercise in! Great view. Very quiet. There is a Market a couple minutes a way. Shower would got from hot to cold back to hot, also the shower needs a good cleaning. The house as a whole is very large and comfortable and the owners are always there to help if needed.

Stayed Jul 19, 2018Thank you Cinza and Gregorio for sharing this wonderful house with us. Located in between Almalfi and Positano, this house is centrally located so it is easy to visit the beach, walk the Path of the Gods, see the Grotto of Smeraldo, and visit Positano or Almalfi. The house is large and comfortable. It had everything we needed to enjoy the days we stayed there. A large terrace with table has a beautiful view of the water. Every morning we ate as the sun came up and every evening enjoyed the cool breeze while enjoying a glass of local wine. Relaxation at its best. Down the stairs from the house on the main street was a butcher shop for fresh meat and a simple grocery store with great fruit. Next to the grocery store is a tasty restaurant for eat in or take out and eat on you private terrace. A local bus can take you from where the stairs meet the road down to the stairs that takes you to the beach. From this point you can catch a bus to Almalfi, Positano, or walk to the Grotto (15 min walk down hill on highway). The local bus does drive to the Grotto once a day around noon. The public beach is free, or 20 Euro for two chairs and umbrella. The beach is shaded by 3 pm. From the beach you can take a boat to Almalfi, the Grotto, or Positano if you do not want to climb the stairs back to the main road. From Almalfi bus stop you can take the bus to Argerola and get off at the Monastero Santa Rosa to walk back to the house, or continue on to the Bomerano stop to start the Path of the Gods. It is better to start from Argerola and walk toward Positano. If you are planning on using busses, have someone explain the bus times. Most routes pass only once per hour and some routes stop for a 2 hour siesta at lunch. Cinza and Gregorio are wonderful people and do everything to make your stay enjoyable. We communicated by whatsapp and every day they would check to see how we were doing and what they could do to help. We hope to someday return to Conca dei Marini and would love to stay in this wonderful place.
