Stayed Feb 15, 2024A wonderful place to escape the rat race. The apartment was freshly decorated and well provided with linen and equipment. The owner was great. There is you needed him but did not interfere in any way. The garden was exactly as advertised with a wonderful swimming pool which was cleaned regularly. We really couldn't fault this property and would highly recommend it.

Stayed Nov 30, 2023At first, we were very happy with the accommodation. which was clean, spacious, and well equipped. The garden is particularly lovely. Everything was fine until about 7 days into our stay when we started to notice mould forming on the ceiling of the bathroom and the corner of the bedroom wall in which we were sleeping. We bought some mould cleaner but two days later we noticed that the mould had returned and was considerably worse now covering about a meter and a half across the ceiling and from the ceiling to the floor in one corner of the bedroom. The bathroom ceiling was completely covered as well. We then found more mould behind the sofa in the living room. It was at this point that we notified the property owner who agreed to arrange cleaning the property after the weekend. We were concerned that we would at the very least be spending one day possibly more in the property before the situation could be dealt with. At this point the owner offered us the option to stay in another property at the same location but this was not as nice as the house we had booked. It was at this point we decided to leave as the extent of the mould infestation was far too great and we were concerned about the impact on our health. We never received an apology and in subsequent communications with the owner he declined to refund any money until he had read our review. Hopefully the situation has been rectified for his next guests.
