To get to Lagos town centre, cross the harbour bridge and continue along the beautiful palm-lined avenue, a really nice walk.

Stayed Apr 11, 2025Let me first say we very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa. The location is amazing and within walking distance to the marina area, old town, grocery store, restaurants, the amazing boardwalk system and beautiful beaches. The villa was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The large pool was somewhat cool but we used it anyway. Quite refreshing!Just a few constructive suggestions that should have been picked up by the property manager before our arrival. The listing indicated a fireplace and air conditioning. The fireplace didn't work (and the nights are cool so we really missed this feature) and the air conditioning on the lower level also didn't work. Since it is a bit damp down there this was a bit troubling. The manager did bring in 2 heaters but these caused the main circuit to kick out so we disconnected them. We didn't advise the manager about this as we functioned without the heaters.Finally, we have used VRBO extensively over the years and have never been asked to register in another portal (WeLovePortugal.com) to obtain access and other details regarding the property. We had problems with that site which we assume has been set up for marketing purposes. I would prefer to do all my arrangements via the VRBO site.Having said all this I have no problems recommending this beautiful villa to others. We would use it again.
