The house was great- if we had only had cooperating weather so we could have used all the extra amenities would have been nice. The yard was great- the toys and pool would have been fun had it not been raining the whole time. The property was well taken care of. The owner was great with getting back to me. If we go back - I’d definitely try to rent their house again.

Yeah, the back yard and pool is nice but the host is not local (Europe) and very unreasonable to deal with. All he cares about is making money and not keeping the property well maintained. There was mold in the coffee pot. Mold in the bathroom. Nails sticking out of the floor. Sand in the bed sheets. The kitchen, living area and sun room were very unorganized. The dishwasher was still full of dishes. Not enough towels. Don't even go in the garage, its a disaster, you cant hardly walk through the garage to get to the washing machine and dryer without tripping over something, its just filled with garbage everywhere. When we tried to use the washing machine it wouldn't drain. I tried contacting the owner to get it fixed, it was never fixed while we were there so we had to go to a laundromat ( the last thing I wanted to do on vacation) but ultimately it was never fixed and he blamed the malfunction on us. We only tried to use the washer one time and it didn't work. He ended up charging us an extra 400 to fix the washing machine because of a broken lid lock. We did nothing wrong, all we did was put some towels in and close the lid, but he insists we damaged it. What a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place and owner. Not worth it at all. One more thing, I contacted VRBO to file a dispute and they were no help at all, they don't care about their customers either. Just stay at a hotel. None of these people understand anything about customer service, Money is all they care about.

We really enjoyed our stay here for a much needed get away! The backyard was breathtaking! The home was very spacious and very comfortable! The owner Claude was always there for anything we needed! I definitely recommend this property and will definitely come again!

This home was fantastic in every way possible. Particularly outstanding is the resort style back yard. Nothing but total fun and relaxation being right on the canal. The house offered all the comforts of home and really lent itself to lots of company. Plenty of room inside and out. Very clean and easy to keep clean. Most of all, Claude was awesome to work with. You won’t go wrong renting this house. It’s a real gem!!

This is a basic 3-bedroom pool house with well appointed kitchen and baths - 1 bath very small. Hardwood floors and minimal upholstery suit well for children and pets. Rental has spacious outdoors with fun exposure/access to inlet dock. This outdoor space - best feature of the rental - requires ongoing maintenance; we arrived on Thursday and pool and yard were not cleaned or groomed until Monday. The owner is very cordial and well-meaning but is not local, and has the rental set on auto pilot for maintenance and management; he is unable to provide personal oversight for standards. Just know this is a basic and not upscale rental; depends on what you want and your needs.

From start to finish, this was a wonderful stay. I had a lot of questions even before our stay began and Claude was very kind and patient. The property itself is very beautiful. You won't want to be inside much because its like paradise as soon you enter the backyard. The house inside had everything we needed and the kayaks that came with the property were used daily. Claude has a nice place. 2.bed rooms near each other the 3rd a little more separate. The back yard is very pretty and exquisite. It's a great family house because they have games , books and sand toys. I also noticed in the closet they have booster seats and car seats and A small sized crib. A few down sides to the place is 1. everything was exact. There was just a few rolls of toilet paper having us wondering if wed run out in the middle. 6 of us for 3 days. The linen and towels as well. Smallish towels and only 6 or 8..between swimming and showers...We could have used more. Linen seemed to be locked in a closet or something so when we decided not to share the king bed we had to contact them to get us more linen so we can use the pull out couch. (In which we were questioned why we would need more) 2. Which leads to our second issue was the communication got a little sticky we had many emails back and forth but somehow things were not so clear and we were made to feel as if we hadn't given over information accurately when in truth we did. We were supposed to have the pool heated but in the end it was stl too cold to swim in cuz the weather was cold and the pool was not heated warm enough. And we also didn't know that they would only heat the pool till 5 pm and had planned a night swim. So the pool was a big disappointment because we specifically rented a house with a pool and were unable to use it. (It was also very dirty the first day we were there but seems they have a pool maintenance that comes, not sure how often so that's something I would clarify before staying here) The toilet was stuffed when we came...But that could happen to anyone..and being that we came late in the evening it wasnt able to be fixed that night...understandably so (although annoying for us) But they did have it fixed the next morning. So all in all I wouldn't say not to stay here. I might even myself stay again but I would def. Make sure to talk on the phone more instead of emailing and being very clear as to what we want with the pool..Linen etc.. The poor communication was very frustrating making us feel like we were misleading them and we began to feel uncomfortable to all flee things (such as the higher heat in pool or extra linen)

I am an IT engineer who relocated from NY to FL with my company. At first, I only booked this property for a couple of days and intended to look for a permanent rental asap. Well, I quickly extended my stay after I had stayed here for a couple of days. If it had been possible to enter a long-term lease for this property, I wouldn't have hesitated a second to do so, especially after I had seen 20+ long-term rental properties on the market. This property has one big plus none of the other properties on the market has: a HUGE backyard and a LOT of space for entertaining. Since I have a family with smaller children, I also appreciated a lot to have the backyard fenced, especially towards the canal. Enjoying the awesome and unobstructed water views on the canal while having a cool drink under the shade of a tree or in the marvellous pool is very relaxing, especially after a tough day at the office. My wife and children spent entire days at the property without leaving it. Actually, it's more like a private resort than just a house. As an IT engineer, I also work a lot from home on the weekends and I liked the fast and stable internet connection. Even in the backyard, I was able to have video-conferencing sessions. The villa itself was very clean at our arrival. It's well equipped and all appliances are new and in stainless steel design. It's also very well located, close to the beach, the shops, restaurants and the Golf Course. I would highly recommend this property to any other guests, especially with children. Wow. A three minutes - drive to the beach, with a great reef for snorkeling or diving. The house and the backyard are huge, the pictures don't do it justice. Everything is new, everything works, and it has everything you could possibly need. The constant ocean breeze makes it pleasant on any of the outdoor decks/patios, and the private dock or the lounge by the canal are perfect to watch as the sun sinks into the horizon. We stayed with another couple and there is plenty of room for a crowd of guests, or to be alone if you prefer. There are a lot of good restaurants in various price categories in the vicinity, but if you want to cook for yourself the kitchen is modern and well designed, or you can use the gas grill. Although we didn't need anything, the owner was very friendly and gave us some great tips for restaurants. The house book has suggestions and they are all excellent. The pool is great and crystal clear and the patio furniture is comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and very safe. We loved the house and will be back next year.

A big thank you for making our stay as easy and delightful! We all had a truly amazing holiday. The house itself was very clean, well maintained and spacious for our party of six. The view from the dock is fantastic, it is a pleasure to see the wonderful boats passing by. The kids had fun to try fishing. We enjoyed spending most of our days relaxing by the pool, hanging out in the huge backyard, doing barbecues and ending the evening with a cocktail in hand in the stunning lounge under the Banyan tree watching the sunset.
