Private Villa with superb seaview, swimming pool, garden, parking, pet friendly

Beautiful location. Amazing view. Easy access to local restaurants. Lovely clean villa

This villa has an amazing location with views over the sea to the west, with gorgeous sunsets. The pool is large and very well maintained and all bedrooms inside the house are a good size with air conditioning. It's a great location for visiting central and southern Corfu but you need a car. The final access road is steep, but short. The owner was responsive and charming and we had a marvellous holiday. We'd agree with other reviews that say that the property needs some investment to upgrade the bathrooms. There were only 3 outside loungers that could be used and the umbrellas need replacing.

Villa was spotless on arrival and was cleaned twice during our two week stay.This villa had the best pool we have ever had- it was well looked after, plenty deep enough for our two children (12 and 14) and long enough to proper lengths which was lovely. The view from the villa was amazing. We saw swallows each day that flew down and drank from the pool and bars in the evening. WiFi worked no problem and it was fantastic on arrival to have a few things after our journey like water, bread, cheese, tea etc. We were kindly offered to go to the Olive Mill and do the tasting tour which was really interesting. The only thing to improve would be the umbrellas and sun loungers around the pool. Many of the loungers were broken and there needed to more umbrellas.Overall a great trip!

Lovely Villa, Great views, Great Swimming pool, Beautiful location and very peaceful. However, the property needs attention. The bathrooms are terrible the shower head in the main on suite is worst than a 2 star hotel, the shower head holder is broken you could only hold the shower head whilst you washed. It is a shower within a bath and the water from the shower collected around your feet as the bath drain is blocked also the bath plug was missing and black mould had accumulated around the back of the bath. You could not use the wash basin as the basin plug would not release so you had to keep the tap running. The other 2 showers within the property are so small you could hardly turn around, you certainly could not wash you hair as you elbows were banging against the shower doors and wall. There is NO Wi-FI. as the router was not responding. The 2 safes one was locked and the other would only work without the overide key, which is easy to duplicate. Unable to contact Spyros, the owner, despite sending many messages. When you pay over 4,000 Euros for a two week stay, you do not expect to put up with all the above. Far worst than a 2 star hotel. The Villa has a top location with a beautiful view and the swimming pool ist very well maintained. But the internet works very unreliable und there is no Telephone network for using mobile data. From the third day we had no more hot water. Despite multiple messages to the owner no reaction. That was a shame.

What a fabulous villa! The listing photo’s tell you how gorgeous the view from all the balconies is. The location was perfect: privacy without being remote. The stroll down to the beach was very easy, and we enjoyed drinks at Sunset Restaurant before a sunset swim one evening, and a meal there on another. At the villa, the sound of the cicadas is atmospheric. Spyros greeted us and was very friendly and helpful with our requests. The layout of the villa suited the 7 of us perfectly. The bedrooms were airy and spacious. We spent most of our time on the main balcony or down by the pool; being open-plan we could always see the sea, even while preparing food in the kitchen. Sunset was magnificent to watch and the full moon’s reflection on the sea magical. The pool was excellent - just a few steps from the villa, well maintained, very big, and very warm - my husband normally has to be bullied into a pool but he found the temperature of this one irresistible. We got groceries at Ag. Mattheos, a short drive away, and drove to Corfu Town on the opposite coast - narrow windy roads, so you definitely want a small car. What a magical stay we had at this villa - I’d definitely recommend it if what you’re looking for is: spacious, comfortable accommodation, with a fantastic pool and a glorious view and location. We had an amazing stay. Spyros and his family were friendly and very generous. We felt spoiled and looked after. The villa met our needs perfectly - although bear in mind there are stairs or steep slope to the pool. The pool was amazing. The surroundings idyllic and beach taverna's are in walking distance. We hired a car to explore the island but had plenty of rest and relaxation. If you enjoy relaxing away from the throng of crowds, enjoy wildlife and an immersive local experience book now. We are missing Corfu already.

First of all we had a very nice stay. The view from the several balconies and terraces and pool is stunning - enjoy a cold drink and look atnthe sunset over yhe ionic sea. The pool is cleaned regularly. The house itself is a bit out of shape - broken umbrellas, sofas covered by blankets (not visible in the announced photos). Kitchen well equipped but broken covers here and there, light bulbs defective. In the lower garden broken furniture, abandoned construction material is just left visible to the guests. Nothing severe and the location is compensation - but worth to mention that the pictures in the announcements are several years old, so do not expect a perfect condition. Communication with the host is improvable - message by FeWo app was not answered, only after contacting via WhatsApp or not at all. Still I recommend to book this place if you want to enjoy the quiet area with a nice pool and an awsome view.

Very nice villa with stunning view and terrific pool and very friendly and thoughtful hosts. Perfect cleaning service and even a delicious homemade Moussaka was served during our stay. We truly enjoyed our stay.

The property is located on a hill 10 mins walk from Paramonas beach. The view from the property is the main selling point and is absolutely stunning. The pool is large and maintained daily. The property itself is spacious with 2 balconies and a large terrace. All rooms have working aircon, which was needed! The cleaner came about 4 times during our fortnight. The property could do with some TLC to turn it into a true luxury villa. There were 5 of us and we struggled with the lack of crockery and glassware. Also there were only 4 sunbeds. Unfortunately the covered patio by the pool is used for storage and we felt this was a great waste as it could be a lovely dining area. Spyros was extremely friendly and came to greet us with local delicacies on day 2. The family also brought us a delicious moussaka in week 2. The best we’ve had! Communication with Spyros varied. Sometimes we’d get a response (by iMessage as we had no mobile signal at the property) and sometimes we wouldn’t. There are 3 tavernas within walking distance. Skala has a nice garden and the food is pretty good. The staff are very friendly. Sunset is a modern beachfront hotel restaurant. Food here wasn’t up to much but the setting was nice. At Plori the food was good but we had various issues with service on our first visit which unfortunately meant we didn’t go back. For better local food with a view, head to Avra at Prasoudi beach a 10 min drive away. The local village Agios Mattheos has 2 shops for all your food needs plus a bakery and some eateries. You will need a car at this property. As such you can visit most of the island easily enough although the rural roads are poorly maintained and narrow, requiring some caution and confidence. The local area provides some nice quiet beaches with beautiful clear water and is a great base for visiting other places. We got to Corfu Town, Agios Gordios, Messonghi, amongst others, with ease. There is a problem with litter locally that really spoils the local countryside. There are large waste collection areas on the road where vast amounts of rubbish is dumped and collected about once a fortnight. This rubbish gets blown into the surrounding countryside which is a great shame. In summary, Villa Romantic is a great base with beautiful views and a lovely pool but does require some attention and a review of facilities to ensure they are working and are enough for up to 8 people as advertised.
