Comfortable open home. Maybe a bit more garden or a view would have been nice.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay. 6 adults. The house was clean, modern, and comfy. The location is close to restaurants and beach. The pool and yard has alot of shade, which can be good and bad, depending on the person. Howler monkeys, iguanas and squirels to watch, just hanging around. House keeping was not included but was not a problem. We washed towels and cleaned floors. The house did not have any cleaning products, only dish soap and dishwasher tablets. Beach Towels, and camping chairs were available. I would recommend staying here.

Overall we loved the house and it was true to the listing. That said, the downstairs beds are really hard and very uncomfortable. We tried to checkin early but received no response from the property manager at all, even once it was time to check in. We never asked, or needed anything after that so don’t have further experience with contacting them. Other than that, the place was great and it’s a beautiful house with nice, secure parking.

More like a 3.2. pool and pool area were dirty.leaves and dust.Furniture by the pool were faded and stained.Inside it was dusty.Dirty on the top of the base trim.loked like it was quickly cleaned six months agogo and has been vacant since.Rooms were smaller than they looed in the oictures.beds were very hard and uncomfortable.We messaged the host to get the pool and pool area cleaned,but no response.last year we syayed at Potrero at a differt place,and it was a lot nicer.

The down side was that the beds were very hard and we needed to bring some bedding from downstairs bed upstairs to make them more comfortable. Also, it was nice having a secure gate for entrace and to park car, but being completely manual it was a pain to open it each time we were coming and going. Last, the air conditioner in loft stopped working and leaked water everywhere to include coming through the floor into the main level. This also caused the outlet in the master bathroom to short circuit which was ultimately fixed after a couple days.

Everything was great and the area is quiet with enjoyable food and drink close by.(walking distance) we did not needa car for anything and were able to pick up local rides from anywhere we went. the house was beautiful, clean and well-appointed for our stay. ac worked great and pool was large enough for anything we wanted to do with our son.

It is located in a nice quiet area – the house is 4 minutes walking distance to the beach and close to restaurants and commerce of Playa Potrero. The distribution of the house is very nice: 2 rooms & 1 full bath & common area & pool downstairs, and 2 rooms & 2 full baths & open office are upstairs. The issue we had with our stay was with unreliable Wi-Fi at the house. If we had known this in advance, we wouldn’t have rented the house. We arrived on a Sunday to stay for 9 days, and the connection to Wi-Fi was unreliable since the beginning. On Wednesday we lost 100% the connection to Wi-Fi and never got it back for the rest of our stay – so out of the 9 days, we had no internet for 6 days! We informed the the property manager of the issues with Wi-Fi and his answer was that the whole Playa Potrero area had issues; however, we knew this was not true because when we went out to hotels and restaurants around the house to work and have some internet, all of these places HAD good internet connection.We felt as if not enough has done by the property manager to address the issue, and for us internet was a key element in our vacation to check things back at home and our work.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed at Casa Tequila with a group of other women who traveled to Costa Rica for the first time from the US. We were initially expected to stay at a different home, but that other company canceled our reservation 6 days before our stay. Needless to say, we were disappointed, but when we found Casa Tequila we were so pleased with its charm! Every detail from the materials used to build it to the furniture and decor, were very well thoughtout and it was beautiful! When I arrived, their housekeeper let me in as she departed and the first thing I noticed was that the home was spotless! The location is perfect in relation to the beach and a local tienda is a short 4-min. walk away; however, it was a bit noisy on some nights. So if you're looking for secluded and quiet, this may not be your place, but we didn't mind it too much. We encountered an issue with the dryer, contacted the management company and they responded quickly to troubleshoot. Unfortunately, it seemed they needed additional parts so it wasn't repaired during our stay, but that was beyond their control. We just did things the old fashioned way and hung everything to dry. Tony, with KRAIN management was very responsive and helpful, and is continuing to provide me with other resources since my stay! I even accidentally left a very important artifact at the home. I contacted Tony immediately and he worked to ensure his staff retrieved it before the next occupants checked-in and kept it safe until it could be picked up. I am so pleased with the home itself, our stay, and the mgt staff, and I highly recommend Casa Tequila!
