Stayed Dec 31, 1969The pictures are beautiful but the house is even more in person, we had a really nice surprise when we arrived. Rosa the housekeeper was very helpful and the views were simply the best. We cant wait to come back again, we went to a girls anual reunion and probably we will chose Piedra Blanca again :)

Stayed Dec 31, 1969It was a pleasant surprise to find that the house exceeded our expectations. It was architecturally interesting and beautifully decorated. The view from the living room is of the pool and the ocean, can't go wrong with that. Everything was clean and kept clean by our lovely housekeeper. She really took care of us. I'm a chef, so I had a couple of complaints about the layout of the kitchen, but most people won't notice, I'm sure. The place didn't have a grill, but the manager took care of us by getting one, along with bags of charcoal. I think it could use a permanent grill. The drive into town was a little longer than what we're used to, I'm sure that has pros and cons, fur us, we would have liked to be closer. The thing I enjoyed most was the peaceful and beautiful setting. We also had a birds' eye view of migrating whales, and they were not shy about giving us a show. Very close to the Dolphin experience, which sadly, wasn't the swimming with the dolphins experience I would have liked, but still nice.
