Poggio Martino is a country villa, situated in a charming position on top of a panoramic hill, only 3 km from the center of Città della Pieve, a charming medieval village, the birthplace of the painter Perugino. It is a lively center for cultural, folk and food events: Infiorata in June; The Palio in August, the Living Nativity in the Christmas period.
It is the typical country house built in stone with large masonry, so very fresh in summer. This place offers a relaxing holiday andthanks to its location it is the ideal starting point for visiting important artistic and cultural centers such as: Cortona, Val d'Orcia with Montepulciano Pienza and Montalcino, Orvieto, Perugia, Assisi, Siena.
The facility can easily accommodate a large family or a group of friends. The rooms are large and there is the possibility to add some beds on request.
The ground floor consists of a large living room with fireplace, an open space that connects the living room with a dining room with a table where you can comfortably seat ten people. From the dining room you access the fully equipped kitchen. Near the main entrance is the study with a double sofa bed, bathroom and staircase. All ground floor has direct access to the garden.
On the first floor are the three bedrooms and the two bathrooms, both with shower. Two of the rooms also have independent access to the garden and the third has a small loggia overlooking Monte Cetona.
