OCEANFRONT Retreat (YOGA), BEST LOCATION AND VIEWS, garden, 2 pools

This is a property with character and distinct charm. We all fell in love with it and the area surrounding it. Perfect for a long awaited family holiday for 7 people with so much space and different areas just to 'be'.

The Villa was fabulous, a proper retreat, we arrived frazzled and stressed and went away truly relaxed. It has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing retreat ... the sound of the waves, loads of space, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful terraces and an infinity pool overlooking the sea with a fridge on the terrace for drinks, so we didn't even have to walk to the kitchen! The only thing wrong was we had to leave x Jonathan the handyman rushed straight round when we couldnt get the football on the telly and was so helpful! I will definitely come back here.

This entire property is just amazing! Many levels on the property, close to the ocean with incredible views, the local town is a short walk, and all of the amenities were spot on. This is the kind of property that makes you want to move in permanently. Johann was great at communicating and check in was a breeze. I can't wait to go back!

We stayed in this property last year for 4 weeks. We liked it so much we returned this year for 7 weeks and are considering coming back again next year. What more can I say? Well, the Villa is spacious and comfortable and has a well equipped kitchen. It has the most spectacular views and extensive gardens that go right down to the sea. The gardens are terraced and there are a lot of steps so it is perhaps not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. The downstairs terrace has a table tennis table and dartboard, both of which we enjoyed using. Florian, the owner, and his team are available to answer any questions or resolve any issues that may arise during your stay and we were exceptionally well looked after by Jono, Angie and Enrique who were all extremely helpful and very professional.

Amazing. I booked the home for 4 weeks. It worked perfectly for the 4 of us friends coming from Toronto. The location allowed us to enjoy the quieter immediate area and also provided us with easy access to other towns. Some of the places we went to : Nerja, Malika, Marbella, Gibraltar, Rhonda, Seville, Granada, Corboda, Motril, Almuñécar etc. also visited many of the ‘white towns’ : Zahara, sentinel, Frigiliana, Comares, etc. Also went to Camito Del Rey gorge walk. Le Huredura itself allowed us to explore and walk around the small town, walks along the beach, lunches and dinners at one of the many restaurants on the main sea front drive and beach. Nothing like taking in the sunset on the beach. We also enjoyed the various street markets in the towns around the area. We did indulge in buying many of the local crafts and homemade jewelry etc. Access to fresh fruits and vegetables was great. The owner of the Vrbo location is delightful providing us with many suggestion of places to see, restaurants, etc. any questions Florian responded promptly. To conclude I will definitely be returning to this vrbo. Absolutely loved it from every aspect. Location, accommodations, house itself and the gardens - all well managed, pride in ownership, great responsiveness.

It was a privilege to stay at such a beautiful house. Sitting on the shaded terrace looking over the bay, lounging in the infinity pool with equally stunning views, spotting wild ibex poking around the shade of giant trees, palms and flowering shrubs, listening to the waves breaking against the rocks below, enjoying a great kitchen, comfortable furniture, air conditioned bedrooms or fresh air, walking or driving to the nearby beach and restaurants, this was a special place to reconnect with family and get to know southern Spain. Florian, John and Angela were always helpful, graciously allowing us an early check in after our overnight flight.

House location and facilities excellent. Not suitable for persons with mobility difficulties because of all the steps, many uneven, and with no railing, and very difficult to be sure about the surface in fading light. Two guests had falls on the steps one which resulted in hospitalization. A house for young , agile guests only.

The villa was spacious, comfortable and well equipped with extensive gardens and glorious panoramic views of the sea and the resort of Herradura. The owner was easily contactable for any questions we had and he and his maintenance team were friendly and helpful. We spent a wonderful 4 weeks in the villa and hope to return there. Highly recommended.

Simply put; we'll be back again!!
