Oceanfront Casa Coco Luxury 10 BR Villa

We stayed at Casa Coco for my 60th birthday. There were 12 of us. It was exactly what I had dreamed it would be. The house, view, food and staff were outstanding. They were attentive to our every need. As soon as I asked for something they were right there to help. The chef cooked us really tasty breakfasts with a smile. We also had him cook us a surf and turf dinner which was better than some of the finest restaurants I have been to. They arranged for us to have a classic rock band for my birthday, who were really good. The pictures don't do it justice. They pulled out all the stops and treated us as I would have treated my guests in my own home. It was really 5 star treatment. My guests and I were all really pleased. I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

My spouse and I are seasoned travelers with a ton of time logged over the last two decades staying in vacation villas around Mexico and the Caribbean. In February 2020, when I was looking for a place to celebrate a milestone birthday with 10 close friends, the stakes were even higher than usual, to find a place that could really hit it out of the park for a special occasion. I write about food and travel for a living. I can have exacting, unrealistic standards. I spent weeks upon weeks kicking the tires on villa listings—cross-referencing user reviews, quizzing property managers—having learned from experience that you can hide a lot of flaws behind a gallery of high-toned professional photographs of sunsets and margarita closeups. Does the wifi work? Right, but does it work in this suite in the back? How cold does the air conditioner get? Is the beach out front swimmable? Can I get fresh fish or is it mostly frozen? Do you have a good mariachi band on speed-dial? Once we chose Casa Coco, the property staff patiently and competently worked with me to customize a week of celebration, and when we finally arrived at the property, it turned out to be everything I'd hoped for. Every one of the suites was beautifully appointed and clean, the common areas and setting were even more stunning than in the pictures, and the food and drink provided by the villa chef were excellent. (We opted for daily breakfast, plus a few scattered lunches and dinners...and cooked in ourselves or dined out the other meals.) For one meal we cooked ourselves, the villa manager helped us source some snapper from a local fisherman (fried fish tacos!), and for the actual birthday dinner, they set up a table under the stars overlooking the water: grilled whole lobsters with garlic butter, green pipian mole with chicken, hand-cut fries, flan napoletana, Champagne and wine and frosty glasses of tequila, culminating in a perfformance my mariachis and fire dancers! The villa was secluded enough, but just a short golf cart ride away (we rented three carts for the week) from the thrum of mid-island. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with 15 other family members at Casa Coco. The rooms are so nice, good air conditioning, and plenty of room. The common places are varied and plentiful so we could be together (sunsets on the deck by the cliff) or find a nitch in the pool or hanging chairs. I had planned with the staff some wonderful excursions including a sunset catamaran cruise, trip to Chitchen Itza, and a snorkel trip. All came off beautifully. We also had a party outdoors for our anniversary -- guitarist, special food and wine, and decorations. We came back inside for an evening of hilarious entertainment by our guests. Staff were there to help with everything. We knew that the chef would prepare breakfast each morning and it was always scrumptious, and we contracted for 4 evening meals. We had enough food left over that along with stocking the kitchen and kitchen privileges we didn't have to go out for dinner unless we wanted to. There are great restaurants on the island. What I appreciated was that we had the intimacy of a family house with the service and convenience of a hotel. I cannot say enough about Anna, Elihud, Paul, Kevin and the others who helped us make our great memories.

I cannot say enough about the staff of Casa Coco, the wonderful food and the majestic beauty we enjoyed during our celebration stay. It was more than I hoped for. I highly recommend Casa Coco to everyone!

Everything was absolutely wonderful. The house, location, rooms, staff, amenities - all of it was perfect. We were a group of 20 celebrating my 50th birthday. The concierge Emma was amazing - making all my requests happen - from the golf carts, pre-stocked refrigerator, chefs, bartenders, private boat taxi and shuttle arrangements, to my birthday yacht - it all happened seamlessly. Hire the chef Eliud for amazing dinners, and Miquel for your bartender! And the sunsets!!! Oh my word. Best birthday ever.

From the house, to the location, to the staff, and the island... Casa Coco is a second-to-none experience. In fact, we hosted our wedding weekend and wedding onsite and we were blown away at house great everything and everyone was in supporting such a great event. The house was amazing in all aspects. Rented Casa Coco for a very special family vacation (16 of us) and it did not disappoint. Beautiful place, staff was great (Emma, Norman, etc) with just the right amount of interaction and support. Thank you, I hope we can make it back.

Kayaks and paddleboard on property for use every day. You can take the paddleboard‘s down to the tall friend in counter and watch from the ocean. They even did our laundry for us. Bartender made amazing drinks. Cannot say enough about how The staff went out of their way to accommodate our request. We were traveling with a group of 22 people and they made it so easy. Thank you so much for making the trip such a success!

Gorgeous property. Private rooms, allowing for big groups to have fun and enjoy personal time. Fun island, will be going back! Highly recommend!!

We stayed at Casa Coco for 4 nights to celebrate my 40th birthday with 8 other couples. The staff was very accommodating, the views were amazing, and the beach area next to the house was perfect. The chef that took care of our breakfast each morning was wonderful and it was great to gather each morning as a group to tell stories of the night before. We had massages one day and yoga instruction on the roof of the house two days that was a great and challenging experience. I hope to have a reason to book this home again! The only thing negatives experienced was the wifi wasn't working and the water pressure became an issue or last night but they got it working within the hour of our notification.
