Oceanfront 2 bedroom villa in Villamare perfect for your next getaway!

The unit was not the cleanest we’ve stayed in. Dishes left in dishwasher were dirty. Floors still had sand on them, showers looked to have some mold (or needs regrouting?) Some dishes in cabinet were not clean. Also the lint trap needs a major cleaning on the dryer- fire hazard! Lastly, annoying that the pillowcases on pillows were too small for the size of pillows- who wants to lay their heads on a pillow only half covered. The complex overall was lovely and a great location.

Beautiful island! Helpful and quick response from Host. Great location! Comfortable beds! Well stocked kitchen! Clean! Will be back!!

I would stay in this unit and Villamare again. The unit had everything needed for a pleasant week at the beach. I chose to disinfect when I arrived because of Covid 19 and after wiping EVERYTHING down it was apparent how clean the unit was. Only thing missing was a screen on the balcony door. The nights were breezy and I would have loved to sleep with the door open. Villamare is a perfect location and the access to the beach and pool from this unit was so convenient. Also want to mention Island Getaways App made everything so easy.

Well the “ property “ category should allow separate ratings for comfort , location , cleanliness. Comfort- 3 stars Location - 5 stars Cleanliness- 2 stars As I reported when we first checked in the master shower , specifically the shower head and handle/cover were gross. It was obviously not cleaned at all or not cleaned properly. The other bathroom shower wasn’t much better.The tiles had a slimy feel to them as well. There was noticeable dust throughout the unit especially on the cable boxes , DVD players and other places. The boxes stand out because they are black. It would have taken 30 seconds to dust. There was a blood stain on one the decorative pillows that I also reported. When you first walk in the unit you can smell a musty moldy stench. It improved after getting the unit cooled down to 72 and I guess we got use to it. The second bedroom closet has a couple old rusted beach chairs in it. We took one out to see if was useable and rusty water came out of it. Had to clean up.

Villamare was wonderful and will stay again. Not this condo though. Not clean and in need of updates. Marks on walls, broken blinds, nose/handprints in window, candy wrapper under bed, appliances are awful. Dishwasher needs replaced, washer was replaced during stay. The oven doesn’t preheat properly either. There is no room to store dry food items as storage is nonexistent. Shower heads need replaced and guest shower has stains, mold, missing caulking, it was gross. Everyone used the master shower. Floors were sandy and dirty when we got there. Our feet were super dirty. Friends stayed in unit above us and had a much nicer place for same price. This condo is not worth the price.

Great location! Steps to the beach! However the unit was not the cleanest. It certainly was not sanitized as I would have expected due to COVID “cleaning”. The property manager was very responsive & helpful. However we had to use the cleaning service to do our laundry since the in unit washer was broke (it was free) and they ruined several items of our clothing!

Not good! Place was dirty. Floors were dirty and everything dusty. Do not stay here!

We have stayed at Villamare multiple times and have always rented through Island Getaways. I sadly have to say I would not stay at this condo again. It was dirty--for example I discovered two crusty glass 9x13 pans in a drawer and one of them had an inch of water sitting in it! Multiple cockroaches inside condo and on balcony and hallway. I haven't had this experience before at Villamare

Not the best. Very dirty. Bring house shoes!! Blinds barely worked with several falling off. Closet doors didn’t work/fell off the track. Some light bulbs were out. Trash found underneath the beds. Lizard/salamander thing found in the bedroom. Dishes were wet in the cabinet, plus some dishes were in the bathroom under the sink. Roach in hallway Pros- close to beach. Parking was fine. Grills were nice and clean.

We had a great week staying at this property! It was just as described and perfect for our family of 4! We will definitely look into staying here again for any future visits!
