    The house and especially its terrace with sea-view are beautiful. Nevertheless, if we knew what bureaucratical burden we would have to face we would have never rented this house. The reason why we finally rented it was that we were in time pressure (we placed the request for the house only one week before our departure to Corsica, our fault…). It was the first time (we have 10-years’ experience in renting the apartments at least two times a year) we had to send the signed rental contract (in French!) and civil liability insurance to the owner via email. And on spot we had to sign the inventory (again in French!) of all the equipment of the house. The inventory was so detailed (two pages of tiny letters) that I would not be surprised if water pipes and electrical sockets were included. The equipment of the house was OK if I pass over that there was less than one toilet paper, no dish detergent, no dish cloth (only for charge), no garbage bags, no sharp knife, no basic foods like salt. But there was special detergent in the bathroom which we were supposed to use for cleaning the bathroom. There is also lack of storage space for guests and total absence of pegs (small hooks to hang the clothes on) and coat-stands but there are cupboard and wardrobe under the locks reserved for the owners. In the bathroom there is no shower curtain so if you have a shower and you are not squeezed in the corner the floor is very wet. The owner is very proud of the Italian design of bathroom and the shower curtain would be too ugly for it. The house of approx. 40 m2 is not definitely for four adults (we were two adults and two kids) because the folding sofa in the main room (living room with kitchen) is very narrow. And the double-bed in the bedroom is not for tall people because it is short (my husband is 178 cm and if we had 5 cm more his feet would be out of the bed). The house was clean, but we had a problem with ants. There were no ants in the house and only few ants on the terrace but in front of the main entrance to the house there were thousands of ants, so it was almost impossible to open or lock the door without having ants on your feet. The closest beach and small supermarket are 25-minutes’ walk downhill and it is quite steeply uphill back to the house. Parking lot is just in front of the house. Overall, house is clean and nice, and terrace is superb but owner’s requirements for contractual documentation, extra charges and the inventory are exaggerative.

    The photos are 100% accurate. This is a wonderful mini-villa situated about a 10 minute walk from one of the island's nicest beaches, and short drive away from two of other best beaches on the island. The owner was very welcoming and extremely helpful and the property was perfect for our needs and in excellent condition. The only possible negative was the lack of wifi, but in retrospect it was good to switch off. I would definitely recommend this property!
