Mijas: Big house with swimming pool and nice garden

We thoroughly enjoy our stay. The check in process was easy, we were promptly met and let in to the villa. The kitchen facilities for both inside and outside of the villa were excellent, it had everything that we needed. The living space was lovely. The bedrooms were spacious, air conditioned, with additional bedding if required. The bathrooms were clean and of a good standard. Outside space was great, the pool kept clean for the duration of the stay, and a pool maintenance man visited to check the pool during the stay. There were enough sun beds for all guests and the garden area was well kept. There were lots of tables and chairs with seating areas for all to enjoy meals at the villa. If any problems arose during the stay they were prompt to respond and come to the villa to sort it out. The only negative we have is that there were dogs kept next door that continually barked on some days and also during the night which isn’t the owners fault but did become irritating when relaxing by the pool. There was also a sewage smell when using the upstairs bathroom. There is a small supermarket approx 15 minute walk away, which is a hilly walk and a carrefore about 10 minutes in the taxi or a 30 minute walk. The nearest town is a 15 minute taxi ride away. You do need to use uber as there is no taxi rank close by. We thoroughly enjoy our family holiday and the outside space and pool was absolutely perfect!

Lovely villa lovely views but poor communication on arrival

The villa itself was lovely, the outside space was amazing and where we stayed majority of our time. We particularly liked the outside kitchen with hob, planchar, sink and fridge and most of our cooking was done there (personally would have liked a charcoal BBQ but it didn't deter).The gardens are lovely with produce and lemon trees and the 2 year old loved running around the outside of the house! Inside the house is more of a home with plants etc and the bedrooms were as expected. Personally we could have done with another WC inside the house. The location is great with golf, supermarkets, beach and Mijas pueblo within a short drive(you do need a car).Overall we loved our stay and would recommend.

Nice villa in the outskirts of Mijas, private pool area and quiet surroundings, perfect!

Really nice villa, perfectly clean on arrival and very well equipped with plenty of cooking utensils and crockery. Great size pool and outdoor kitchen a real bonus. Air con in all the bedrooms was welcome in the august heat. Location 25mins from malaga airport. Car is a must. Supermarkets 10mins away and a couple of restaurants 5mins but not walkable in the heat. Owner communication was great. Met at villa as planned. Only thing if you don't speak french or spanish make sure you have google translate ready as english is not spoken. Lovely stay couldnt fault it

We came here a few weeks ago. We were 2 family’s consisting of children from 1 up to 7 and 4 adults. We absolutely loved the villa. The pictures don’t do it justice at all. The pool and outside area were amazing, we spent our whole time here. I don’t think we used the table and chairs once. We all loved the outdoor kitchen and bar area. The rooms inside were so spacious and very cool due to the amazing aircon. The whole place was so clean and tidy. We were able to walk down to the small village for dinner and the local shop that sold everything we needed. You need to drive to the bigger supermarkets but if we needed anything urgently we could get it here. The walk back was tough as it’s all uphill but definitely manageable. The communication with Antonia was great. She was just a text away if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this place to any family’s. Thanks for a great stay.

Very enjoyable stay

Villa Geroma is a lovely villa, very clean and spacious both inside and outside, all our party of 11 ranging from 68 down to 6 absolutely loved the place, the outside space is massive and the pool is a good size and very clean, our party spent a great deal of time in the pool while we were there, especially the younger ones. The only negative I had was that it was not where it showed when clicking on “locate on map” on the website, it is not by Mijas golf but that wasn’t an issue as it turned out to be a cheaper location to get to and from Fuengirola in taxis as it was just on the outskirts of town. There are a small group of eating places within walking distance, we did not try them as one of our group cannot walk very far, so cannot comment on how good or bad they are. All in all I would recommend a stay here especially for a 3 generation family holiday like ours, all of our party would welcome a return visit.

I highly recommend this villa for a family vacation. We stayed for 7 nights and were sad to leave. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s even better in person. The whole place is spotlessly clean and everything is as described. 10 minutes drive from the beach and 10 minutes drive from Mijas. Communication with Mrs Sanchez was great and all questions were answered instantly. Thanks for letting us stay at your amazing home and we can’t wait to come back.

Spotlessly clean property, very well equipped with a super out door kitchen.Lovely pool, appropriate for toddlers. Lots of shady relaxing space. Large Carrefour a few minutes away and airport nearby. Our family age range is 2-66 and this property was ideal. Highly recommend.
