Manuka Retreat

What a beautiful place to stay, a lovely view, a short stroll to the shops and just a devine little house to call home, we will be back for sure.

The cottage was in a great location, walking distance to town and the facilities were excellent

Our accommodation was absolutely awesome. In a great position just outside of the main shopping area, but in walkable distance. Retreat was quiet, cosy and warm (something we needed for the cold weather we experienced whilst staying here. Very comfortable stay. Spacious and nicely decorated. Comfy bed, and comfy leather lounge. The only comment I will make is that we would have loved to do a little washing, as we had been travelling, but was not offered.

A pleasant surprise. An ideal couples retreat, well appointed. Love the decking and the king size bed. Thank you.

Stunning scenery and a romantic little abode

House was clean and in a great area, close to town, chocolates were a nice surprise

Lovely getaway very relaxing. Villa is nice and clean. Everything you need is there for you. One of the best in halls gap especially location too.

Beautifully presented, modern property, set in woodlands close to Halls Gap centre. Great to be able to park right next to the front door. Extensive glazed outlook in all directions. Prefect for a relaxing or strenuous hiking get away.

We had a lovely 2 day stay, everything we needed was included, the home was clean and comfortable and the spa was lovely after a long day of walking. Would definitely stay again.

I highly recommend Manuka Retreat. It is absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location. The house was so clean and welcoming and the spa was a perfect touch after a day of walking around and exploring. The king bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and the double shower was amazing. Definitely won’t be the last time we come here and we are already planning our trip back. Manuka Cottage is a lovely cottage approximately 500m from the CBD of Halls Gap, as such it is centrally located and is close to all that you need during your stay. I should also note that it is almost directly across the road from the fabulous Spirit of Punjab Indian restaurant. The cottage was compact, clean and tidy. It even has a spa bath. My only negative comment would be that the heating struggled a little on a cold morning where the temperature dropped to 2.9C. Otherwise, it was a joy staying here.

The property was absolutely love. Had a great stay. Close walk into town - shops, restaurants. In the morning and at dusk, got to see heaps of kangaroos around the area. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Manuka was exactly as described & in easy walking distance to town/shop’s. Even most walking tracks for exploration. Only issue, booked it as had two TV’s , we planned to watch Brownlow Medal. No reception on either device, so missed it !! Apparently is an issue there, perhaps would have been nice to know before hand.

Co accommodation

Property was as described, it was comfortable, clean and convenient, even though it is on the main road it was very private. Ensuite area and bed perfect. Chocolates were a lovely personal touch. The bird life is extremely friendly, watch out when eating outdoors. A wonderful place to stay with everything you need, an up grade of cooking pots would be great. Highly recommended staying at Manuka

Our experience was fantastic, hosts were very helpful and location was perfect. Had everything we needed and was the perfect size for a couple, loved the spa bath and double shower. Lots of visiting birds which was lovely and got to see plenty of kangaroos passing by. Would highly recommend : )
