Magnificent house with swimming pool

Lovely house with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of room inside and out with the swimming pool just a few metres away. Within walking distance to the supermarket and some lovely restaurants. Ohlas de agua beach is just a 20 minute walk away. Communication with Lidia the host was very good and gave us clear instructions for our arrival late in the evening. We loved it so much we've booked again for next year.

The flat inside was nice, clean and spacious with lots of storage and with on street parking. It was a well fitted out flat with a really big fridge freezer and plenty of pots and pans etc. The outdoor terrace area was large with 2 sun beds, a table and chairs and a small couch. It was within walking distance of a supermarket, some bars and restaurants and a 10-15 minute drive into Albufeira. What let the flat down from our visit was the pool area. It was not very well maintained. The flat seems to be part of a complex where most other apartments are owned/run by a company called Umbral holidays who I believe are in charge of the common areas. Rubbish lay beside the pool for days (which I ended up lifting) and the pool never seemed to be clean to the point that by our 4th day we were struggling to see the bottom of the pool and dissuaded the kids from going in it. And the pool beside the snack bar was even worse. We never went in it once due to how unclean it appeared. On the 5th day they attempted to clean the pool beside us by putting a hose into the pool for the entire day but this resulted in the pool overflowing and flooding the terrace area around the pool and the grass area around that continually for the whole day. The pool area put a bit of a dampener on our holiday.

Lovely stay, great location, nice and quiet but close to all amenities.

Brilliant location and great facilities within the apartment. Host was incredibly helpful and responded quickly throughout. Plenty of space in the apartment and outdoors in the private patio area. Shared pool was very quiet, with a second larger pool within the complex. Great restaurants not too far away and larger towns can be reached easily with Uber. Supermarket within easy walking distance. Will stay again.

Lovely apartment, clean had everything you needed to make your stay feel like home from home. Great communication with the host. There’s a snack bar on site with another pool. Restaurants, supermarkets and bars are 5 minutes walk from the accomadation, you can’t hear a ny nouse from the bars at night. Had a lovely stay Would go back Thanks for a perfect holiday.
