Stayed Apr 2, 2022We’ve rented in reunion a few other times, and love the proximity to the Disney park. However, this experience was miserable! All week long their was a constant beeping in the house from smoke detectors. It was beeping on arrival— so, we called the property manager and we pushed a rest button. At 3am, we are awoke by another smoke alarm beeping. This time, we leave and drive 2 miles to the 7-11 in the middle of the night to not wake up all the kids. We again, call the property manager. The first time, they said “oh it’s an issue w the security System”. The second visit they say “oh it’s the arcade room”. Well, it’s obvious when it’s a smoke alarm— to make a long story shot, they beeper the entire trip. On Wednesday, they came out again and said “oh they need reset with the home security system this will fix it”. Well, that night they beeped again; as well as, the next two nights! Every day of our trip! Clearly there is an issue and they are not fixing it. On top of that, the spa intermittently worked. We paid for pool heat and the pool temp was around 104 and the spa was in the 80s— it was like they were backwards. Neither was usable for the trip. We called and they said they would turn it off and refund us. We never received the refund. I would recommend a stay at reunion, but not this property.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This property is in a great community and has a wonderful set-up for groups with large rooms and private baths. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we discovered that it has not been well maintained and had not been properly cleaned. It was very dusty inside and there was dog hair everywhere (mind you this property has a no pet policy). We ended up cleaning it ourselves. We also cleaned the outdoor grill, which barely functioned when we arrived and was in desperate need of maintenance and in need of replacement parts. The outdoor furniture was filthy (we cleaned that too) and in disrepair (broken wicker, moldy seat cushions). Inside, while the bathrooms appeared to be clean, several of showers had very little water pressure or hot water. The family room furniture had visible tears, dirt and wear. In the game room, the pinball machine was loads of fun, but the shuffleboard game was unusable because it did not have the proper supplies. We stayed for twelve nights and there were not enough extra towels or sheets to change the beds without removing the sheets, washing them and putting them back on. In the kitchen, there were no glass/pyrex baking dishes nor a complete set of measuring spoons (we ended up buying a set that we left for the next renters). The pool was delightful, but only serviced once during our 12 night stay (the first day). I would love to stay in this community in villa with the same set up on our next stay, but I would not recommend renting this one until they commit to maintaining and cleaning it properly. It's the first time I've ever stayed in a rental property where we left it in nicer condition than it was when we arrived. Also, the first time we spent the first day of a vacation cleaning a rental property.
