Luxury, seafront Villa IVAN with heated pool only 100m from the beach

This was our first ever holiday to Croatia and we are so taken with the country. The weather it has to be said was awful for May Half Term week. It rained every single day we were there, but we still loved it. Omis is a lovely coastal town, the old part is particularly nice and with the beautiful Cetina river flowing through it you can get some great photos. Villa Ivan is amazing, just a 5 minute drive from Omis central. The fixtures and fittings are top notch and the villa is very well spec'd. We have stayed at many villas over the years and this has to be the best so far. It was also the cleanest we have ever arrived at. Probably due to the weather the pool was a little cold as it uses an air source heat pump to warm it, but our son still braved it every day. It too was immaculately clean. Ante is the owner of this wonderful villa and met us on arrival and showed us round. We didn't need him for anything during our week's stay but we know he would have been straight round if we had encountered any problems. We can highly recommend the zip-lining, unfortunately the Cetina river was too fast flowing after all the rain for us to try the white water rafting. Games of Thrones fans will love being able to visit so many of the castles etc.. used for filming. We will definitely be back next year and hope to see both Villa Ivan and Omis in the sunshine! This home was a real show stopper! It was one of the nicest home I have ever been in, worthy of any celebrity. If we could give it 10 stars, we would! We had 4 adults and 6 young children for our 8 day stay, we are from the US. We stayed in late March- early April. Weather was a balmy high 60’s- low 70’s. Ante was really easy to work with. From fast email contact to meeting us at the home on arrival to show the amenities. If we had any questions, Ante responded quickly to texts too. He spoke perfect English. These are the things I most appreciated: Ante had meats, cheese, and multiple food and drink items waiting for us. This was very nice since we arrived late at night.  The playground has a separate entrance from the pool. I felt very safe with my 2 year old in the playground area as he couldn’t wonder over to the pool.  My older kids really loved the pool area! Each bedroom had it’s own tv, bathroom, and really comfortable bed. We were able to  watch YouTube or sign into our Nextflix account.  There was a provided pack n play for the baby with a soft pad, I really liked this bed. It was more of a rectangle shape, so my son could easily sleep in the bed. (He is completely smushed in our Graco pack n play in the States)   The adults really liked the gym downstairs too. The treadmill is state of the art, with a fancy screen showing the world trails you are “running” on. The sauna was a real treat as well. We really liked how the property had big onsite parking for our 2 vehicles.  It goes without saying, the location was absolutely phenomenal! It was about an easy 30 minute drive into downtown Split. All 10 of us would highly recommend staying at this gorgeous home!
